Yoga and pilates, a beneficial alliance for body and mindTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Yoga and pilates, a beneficial alliance for body and mindTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Individual or group class ( 20 people maximum), the classes are taking place outdoors or indoors, on a Yoga mat, without or with the help of numerous accessories, balls, blocks, circles, and rollers. I teach Yin yoga or Hatha yoga and Pilates, Let's start in your mat right now. Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that targets the deeper connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia. Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, Yin involves long-held poses, typically held for 3 to 5 minutes or even longer. The focus is on passive stretching and finding stillness, which encourages the release of tension and promotes flexibility. Yin yoga poses are usually done on the floor, and practitioners are encouraged to relax their muscles, allowing gravity to do the work. This practice fosters a meditative mindset, helping to cultivate mindfulness and awareness. Benefits of Yin yoga include improved joint mobility, increased circulation, and a sense of calm. It's a great complement to more vigorous styles of yoga or workouts, providing balance and promoting overall well-being. Hatha Yoga links postures much faster than Yin yoga and it works on strengthening as well as muscle elasticity. It also helps to balance the two hemispheres of the brain as well as to harmonize the body and mind. In Hatha yoga, the pace is typically moderate, allowing practitioners to explore poses deeply and develop strength, flexibility, and balance. Classes may vary in style and intensity, but they generally emphasize mindfulness and connection to breath. Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on strengthening muscles while improving postural alignment, flexibility, and core stability, it emphasizes controlled movements, breathing techniques, and awareness of body alignment. Pilates can be practiced on a mat or using specialized equipment, such as the Reformer, which adds resistance to exercises. The core is the primary focus, but Pilates also targets various muscle groups throughout the body. Key benefits of Pilates include improved strength, better posture, increased flexibility, and enhanced body awareness. It’s suitable for people of all fitness levels and can be adapted for rehabilitation or athletic training.

Fascia-Aware Yoga, Breathwork, Meditation & Mindfulness | Somatic Meaning GuidanceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Fascia-Aware Yoga, Breathwork, Meditation & Mindfulness | Somatic Meaning GuidanceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Somatic Meaning Guidance is my interdisciplinary approach to embodied awareness, movement, breath, meaning, and reflective practice. Explore movement, breath, meditation, and body awareness through a fascia-aware and reflective approach to yoga. I am a yoga instructor, logotherapist, and existential analyst. My approach brings together fascia-sensitive movement, mindful attention, breathing practices, meditation, and an interest in how the body, nervous system, awareness, and experience interact. Rather than focusing on performance or forcing the body into fixed poses, these sessions invite you to explore movement through sensation, breath, rhythm, curiosity, and your own individual range. We can work with gentle yoga sequences, mobility, fascia-aware movement, grounding practices, meditation, breathing techniques, and periods of stillness. We can also explore topics such as nervous system regulation, stress responses, neuroplasticity, attention, repetition, and embodied learning from an educational and experiential perspective. My background in logotherapy and existential analysis also informs my interest in awareness, meaning, perception, and the way we relate to our own experience. Each session can be adapted to your experience, comfort, and personal goals. You do not need to be flexible or experienced in yoga. The practice can be gentle and exploratory or more movement-focused depending on what you need. My aim is to create a space where movement is not simply something to perform, but something to notice, experience, and understand more deeply — through the relationship between body, breath, attention, and awareness. These sessions are educational and wellness-oriented and are not a substitute for psychotherapy, physiotherapy, or medical treatment.

“ We hired Kenza as a yoga and belly dance teacher during our stay in Marrakech, and she was absolutely wonderful. She had a calm, soothing, and relaxing voice that created such a peaceful atmosphere during every session. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities she guided us through, and her warm, professional approach made the experience even more special. Having now left Marrakech, we were so pleased with her teaching that we will continue classes with her online. She is highly recommended to anyone looking for an enjoyable and uplifting experience. ”

“ We hired Mouain as a swimming teacher for our four grandkids, and they had a wonderful time. They really enjoyed all the fun activities arranged, and it was clear how much thought and effort Mouain had put into making the lessons engaging and enjoyable for them. He was patient, encouraging, and great at keeping them interested while helping them build confidence in the water. Thank you Mouain for giving them such a positive experience—we truly appreciate it and would highly recommend you. ”

I really felt it was customized to my needs and personalized although online i felt the time flew by and he was carefully observing and teaching me. Very good energy and flow between the sequences. I can only recommend his class and will look forward working with him on my practice. ”
