Trusted teacher: Hi, I’m Jana - yoga and movement therapist and mindfulness facilitator from Estonia. I’ve been practising yoga and meditation for more than 8 years, coming from hatha yoga background and enriching it with therapy methods, secular mindfulness practices and my academic background in mental health, nutrition and public health. My approach is a combination of traditions and modern science, which allowed me to create a unique mix of efficient, safe and sustainable practices. I’m a certified yoga therapist and adaptive physical activity instructor so I’m able to tailor a practice to any needs. I’ve worked with a wide range of health problems starting from spinal disc herniations to different injuries. As a mindfulness facilitator, I’m working with stress management, including emotional reactivity, anxiety, panic attacks and many others. It is also possible to adapt the practice to individual inquiries such as improving concentration and memory, working on creativity or improving relationships or confidence. I’ve done various of yoga-, mindfulness- and health-related courses and certifications, assisted in yoga and mindfulness study in Victoria University in Australia and currently involved in writing a research paper on mediation and yoga in collaboration with academics from different fields. I teach hatha yoga, vinyasa, yin or restorative yoga. Although, usually my classes are the mix of different styles and approaches, including yoga and embodiment methods, mindfulness and meditation, counselling and other non-yoga techniques. I usually teach 1- or 1,5-hour classes, individually or in groups, I can teach both online or face-to-face (outdoor or at your place). We can choose one focus (either yoga or mediation) or have a mix of everything. I also offer nutrition and health counselling if you want to lose, gain or maintain weight, improve your eating habits or become more physically active. Education: Yoga Teacher Training 240 hours - Himalayan Yoga Academy, India (2017) Yoga Therapist/Adaptive Physical Education - Institute of Oriental Rehabilitation Methods, Russia (2018) Global Nutrition & Health - VIA University College, Denmark (to be graduated in 2021)

Trusted teacher: A full course of one hour (60 min) with the possibility of reserving for a longer duration (90 min). My classes are mainly oriented on the connection with the breath, the anchoring and the deep muscular work. The lessons are adapted according to the level of the students, and I offer several variations: Hatha Yoga: general category which encompasses most of the styles practiced. "Hatha" means "perseverance", "effort" or even "determination". To be determined to achieve liberation within a certain period. This discipline is in relation with "prana", the vital force and its two components: masculine energies, considered as solar and active + feminine energies considered as lunar and passive. From there was born another interpretation according to which "Ha" & "Tha" would mean the sun and the moon united and balanced through the practice of Hatha yoga. The soul being the sun, constant and stable in its brilliance and luminosity, the spirit being the moon, constantly fluctuating and changing like the phases of the moon. The basic principle of Hatha yoga being to unite and harmonize the opposing energies of the body; the mind and its reactions. We unite the body and the spirit to unite the spirit with the universe. A Hatha yoga class consists of physical postures and breathing exercises. The postures are performed slower and last for a few breaths (30 seconds to a few minutes) to promote anchorage and stability. A real in-depth muscular work. Vinyasa Yoga: the Sanskrit term Vinyasa is derived from 2 roots "Nyasa" which means "to place" and "Vi" which can be translated as "in a specific way". Each movement is linked to rhythm and consciously placed to create a dynamic flow. It is a more rhythmic and powerful yoga which allows to link the postures in a harmonious way with transitions commonly called "vinyasa" and used in particular during the sun salutations. Here we retain the postures in a shorter time than during a Hatha yoga session, but we are still aware of our movements and our alignment. Gentle yoga: for people looking for relaxation, a stretching work inspired by Yin Yoga to release muscle tension and settle into letting go. I invite you to discover Yoga with Hope Arts Studio or to deepen your knowledge if you are already practicing. Meditation: work on the chakras; the 7 main energy centers of the body, often represented by 7 specific colors. During this session, we will focus on a particular chakra to balance and / or unblock it through breathing techniques and guided meditation. We will also explore mindfulness meditation, bringing the moment to the present moment, reconnecting to your “inner self” consciously and without judgment, examining thoughts and emotions. This practice is beneficial for relieving tension and everyday stress. Possibility of private or semi-private lessons in the studio, at home or online. I teach in French and English.

Trusted teacher: Are you seeking for a creative and uplifting way to consciously reconnect with yourself ? Transcendental Embodiment is a dance practice that will guide you to embrace your emotions and help you to reach your true authentic self. Through meditative dances, guided imageries, and energy healing modalities. I am here to support and guide you in your process of discovering your inner power through: - chakras alignment, guided meditation, breathing exercises - self-expression & subjective experience through dance - expanding your heart space, emotional awareness, and healing in movement and dance - release of stress, judgment, and trapped emotions - grounding, self-care, resilience - and more... The sessions are tailored to the specific needs and capabilities of each individual. *Dance can be a practice of introspection, transformation, and transcendence of one’s subjective experiences into a worldwide journey. * As a professional dancer, teacher, and performance maker I am introspectively processing each working day in consciousness, listening to my upcoming emotions, triggers, or anxiety when it comes to be physically and mentally performative in a team, or as a freelance artist. Instead of suppressing these emotions and creating energetical and mental blockages (that can end up into somatic pains or burn-out): we should pay more attention to these inner warning messages and strengthen our emotional intelligence to be able to cope with the infinitesimal external stimulus and daily-stress of our very fast lives. It can be challenging to sense with clarity what is the origin of some feelings of frustration, unsatisfaction, discomfort, or grief, and it can be intimidating or discouraging to walk alone on that path. This class helps you to commit to your better-being, presence to oneself countering wellness procrastination. * What do you need to feel lighter, brighter, or happier in your everyday life? * * What is your self-achievement potentiality? * - For who? : For anyone who enjoys movement and dance, and desires a better connection and understanding with their moving bodies. / One-to-one or group sessions. - Where? : Online via SKYPE or at the student's location. Values: Integrity, Transparency, Respect, Cooperation * About TE : Transcendental Embodiment (TE) is the result of three years of research and development. Merging from a movement philosophy research entitled Behind & Beyond, to its phenomenological understanding. The metaphysical unity of the tangible and intangible bodies expounds on the undeniable relationships between those in the physical realm. The tangible body (the material vehicle), the intangibles bodies (psychological, emotional, energetical, and spiritual). As a dance healing practice, guiding the practitioner to conscious corporeality, and subjective emotional understanding, this methodology can also be a useful tool to improve artistry and technical skills on a deeper level, widening mindful creativity, awareness, empathy, and sensitivity. (TE) movement and dance methodology combines a meditative approach in stillness and through movement, awakening the mind, spreading the awareness into different body parts; putting a specific emphasis on improvisation skills, and musicality, following energy impulses and intuitive movement and increasing the flow of energy. Inviting the practitioners to practice resilience, non-self definition, non-judgment, self-care and self-love, integrity, and acceptance to overcome technical, physical, and mental limits holding the practitioner from his self-achievement potentiality. This approach builds itself crescendo on subjective movement reflexivity and introspective journey through the following process: * The four steps: Being | Investigation | Exploration | Dedication Unconscious - Subconscious - Conscious - Transcendental Consciousness Feel free to contact me for any inquiries. French tutoring with a native speaker : Learn, Improve and Enjoy! (Reykjavik)
Tiffany
Very sweet lady who is always asking how she can improve and cater her lessons towards your personal needs! Knows very well the French language and not on a fluent level, but also the technicalities behind it. Is willing to take time with you and work on your mistakes, as well as trying to explain some French key moments that are difficult to understand for foreign language speakers in a way that is understandable. Always makes sure to challenge you and sees how you can improve! Had a very lovely experience :)
