Welcome! :) What does music mean to you? For me, music is magic. It makes you feel, it transports you to different worlds, and it brings out emotions words cannot describe. I’ve been playing since I was six, and now my greatest joy is not only sharing my own music but also helping you express yourself through this beautiful art form. In our lessons, I’ll guide you through solid technical foundations, practical tips and tricks, and the secrets of artistry that bring music to life. I teach all levels, from beginners just starting out to advanced students preparing for exams, auditions, or performances. My musical journey has taken me from Singapore to the USA, UK, and Sweden, with studies at Singapore’s School of the Arts, Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, Meadowmount School of Music (USA), the Royal College of Music in London, and the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg. I hold two violin performance diplomas (LTCL and LRSM), a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 piano performance, and was awarded the top Ash Music Scholarship at Imperial College London, where I studied violin under Professor Rashkovsky. During my time there, I won the Imperial College Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, performing Prokofiev’s Second Violin Concerto in Helsinki, London, and Southampton. I have also given solo recitals and performed extensively in chamber ensembles, with concerts ranging from Sibelius’ house in Finland to venues across the UK. My deepest passion is chamber music, and one of my main motivations as a teacher is to make classical music enjoyable and approachable. I want to help break away from the stereotype that it is grand, pretentious, or boring. In an age of digitalisation and AI, I believe strongly in sharing the human side of music making. You know those moments when time seems to stop, the air turns still, you get goosebumps, or feel transported into another world? That is the magic of music, and I would love to help you become the magician. ✨ If you are have questions, or would like to book a lesson (piano and/or violin), please feel free to reach out. I look forward to working with you! :)

Trusted teacher: Hi there! :) I offer fun, personalized lessons in singing, piano, music theory and solfège for all ages and levels, whether you're just starting out or already on your musical path and want to grow even more. My lessons are all about you; your pace, your goals and what excites you musically! A little about me: I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Music Education from Near East University, where I graduated as the top of my class. I later completed a second Master’s in Jazz & Pop Vocal Performance at ArtEZ Conservatory in The Netherlands. In January 2025, I won the GRAND PRIX award with my original song CHAINS at The World Association of Festivals (WAF) music contest. In 2024, I performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands, won first prize with my original at the Meikin Asia International Music Competition, and debuted my song with the Orchestra of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku in 2023. I wrote and produced The Voice of the Unseen, the original soundtrack for The Divided Island, an award-winning documentary acclaimed for its "Powerful Message for Peace" and "Best Cinematography" at the Cyprus International Film Festival in 2024 and set to be streamed on Netflix in 2025. My teaching style is a blend of solid academic knowledge and a relaxed, supportive vibe where creativity and curiosity are always welcome. Let’s make music that feels like you; fun, real and full of personality!

Trusted teacher: Hi there! My name is Darius , I am from Germany and I am studying my Master's at the Rythmic Music Conservatory in "Music Performance". I've been playing the piano since the age of 5 years and I started teaching when I was 14 years old. I have experience teaching all levels, including young childres (>6) and adults of all age - teaching privately and in music schools ever since. I can offer basic to intermediate teaching in classical related and pop related piano / keyboards. Having a jazz background myself I can offer jazz lessons from basic to expert which might include preparing for auditions. I am very open to the interests of my students, but my only requirement is to take some time for people call "practising" - or just making yourself a nice time with music :) I also offer other music related teaching in music theory, "ear training", production etc. on all levels. I believe that we should do stuff that you're interested in. Maybe you'd like to learn this beautiful classical piano piece? Or you would like to play jazz piano? Or you'd like to accompany yourself on the piano? Anything is possible :) I also believe that lessons should not be work that you need to do or be good at... For me it's all about fun, creativity, imagination, and taking a break, relaxing, expressing, listening, experiencing, getting more sensitive.. enjoying music both listening to it and playing it yourself :) If you're interested, you can listen to my music in my hiphop/jazz band "Bokoya"! Lessons would take place at Rythmic Music Conservatory in Holmen (Bus 2A from Christianshavn) or (within a reach of 1052) in your home. Timing is pretty flexible. Let's meet each other :) Looking forward to hearing from you!

Have you been trying to teach yourself the guitar and still find it a pain to play? Or have you been taking lessons and still feel restricted and unhappy? Do not fear, Yvette (she/her) is here to help! With my classes, not only will you learn to play with ease, you will also be able to crack the code of music, so you will understand how notes, chords, rhythm and music theory relate to each other. You will no longer be simply playing through mindless memorization or repetition. You will also learn how to listen to yourself and recognize when you have played well, and when you have made mistakes. Although I am classically trained, I started guitar playing rhythmic music, such as nirvana and the beatles, and I still have a deep understanding of the style and have taught it for years. I aim to teach guitar the right way, without taking short cuts that limit knowledge and development later on. I have a personalised approach to each student, refusing to force them to play exactly as I do, but helping them to refine their own innate technique. To that end, I create my own exercises for my students, compiling the best from the existing literature, and am working to creating my own guitar method book. My experiences: Graduate of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore Bachelor Student at The Royal Danish Academy of Music Teacher, Guitarhympia Music Singapore, where I taught the guitar orchestra of Greendale Primary School Member of Singapore Tremolo Strings (STS), rondalla group Teacher, Amadeus Music Academy and Stradivari Strings, Singapore Performances at Bumzen Collective, Esplanade Recital Studio and Concourse and Lee Foundation Theatre and upcoming performances at Sankt Thomas Kirke and Raadvad Kro Cafe Activist, Folketshus Volunteer, LGBT Asylum Denmark Volunteer, Resilience Collective Singapore Volunteer, Caregivers Alliance Singapore
