Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels). My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing. Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique. The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible. I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar. Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. Wonderful teacher! I am really grateful to have found Marouan. He is friendly, teaches in a nice slow but effective way, and replies quickly when setting up a meeting. I liked that he taught me the song I wanted to learn, as well as another one he had in mind for me, on the same lesson! I feel confident that I can learn quickly with Marouan if only I practice a bit in between our lessons.
