Trusted teacher: Hello, I have been a Yoga teacher since 2017, having completed 200 hours of practice at the English school Yoga London (Yoga Alliance certified). I give Restorative, Yin and Hatha yoga classes and sound yoga sessions (sound therapy). Restorative yoga is the most relaxing yoga. It is a gentle, introspective yoga that cultivates inner calm. Unlike most other yogas, there is no muscle strengthening. We simply remain in still postures in order to relax the mind, breathe and relax deeply. Yin Yoga is a slow yoga. The practice of this focuses on connective tissues such as ligaments, bones, joints and even cartilage. It requires little or no muscular engagement. Yin yoga consists of long stretches, combinations of slow and deep breathing as well as postures that must be held for several minutes. Hatha Yoga combines postures much more quickly than Yin and Restorative yoga and it works on strengthening as well as muscular elasticity. It also helps to balance the two hemispheres of the brain as well as to harmonize the body and mind. If you are looking for a French language teacher, I highly recommend Cecile 😊 One of the best things about her teaching approach is that she customizes the method to the student’s particular learning needs. She starts by assessing your level, goals, and learning preferences and then designs the lessons based on this. Something else that I appreciate about Cecile is that she uses a wide array of teaching materials, not leaving space for boredom or an incomplete understanding of a topic. She incorporates texts, videos, audio, fun quizzes, and exercises from different sources and genres, covering various aspects of the French language and culture. She also encourages to practice comprehensively - speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a balanced way.
