My guitar classes are shaped around you—your musical taste, your goals, and the way you learn best. Whether you’re into rock, metal, pop, blues, or anything in between, we’ll use the music you love as the foundation of your progress. I blend technique with practical music theory so everything makes sense on the fretboard. Along the way, we’ll explore triads and tetrads, pentatonic scales and modes, chord and arpeggio shapes, harmonic fields, the circle of fifths, and core techniques like tapping, sweep, alternate, and economy picking—always in a clear, musical, and approachable way. I’ve been a guitarist since 1998 and studied Popular Guitar at FAAM and Music Pedagogy at UFSCAR in Brazil. In 2025, I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of West London. Alongside teaching, I’ve always been active as a composer, recording artist, and performing guitarist in numerous bands. Since 2016, I’ve owned and composed for Arken, a heavy metal band with three albums released. The main outcome of my classes is to help you truly own the instrument—playing comfortably, confidently, and improvise musically. From there, you’ll be able to learn and play any songs you want, and even create your own music if that’s your goal. Beginners and advanced players are equally welcome. Jason is a great teacher and corresponds to what I was expecting from a guitar teacher. He is very good at understanding what you need to improve your playing and his very clear and patient in explaining techniques and theories. He is using easy to read material for his courses. I feel that I have already substantially improved with him. He is flexible about time and and place of lessons. He is also a very friendly and pleasant person.

Really impressed with my first lesson with Cornelia. I am picking piano up again after about 40 years and she really helped with simplifying many things that have always been a little challenging for me eg scales :) We discussed my objectives and direction and have made a plan for moving forwards. Sebastien is very calming and has a relaxed approach with the two children, he helped them concentrate well on the lessons without overwhelming them. It meant that they have stayed engaged and happy to continue with Piano. Definately recommend.
