Trusted teacher: Singing lessons (lessons for children below): Graduate of the Brussels Conservatory in jazz singing (Master), I sing professionally and am pedagogue for 20 years now. I offer private lessons and semi-singing in Watermael-Boitsfort (corner of the broom). Classes are directed to the desires and demands of the student. Here is what I propose ... Voice technique: through vocalizations and other fun exercises, learn to use your body and your voice in an effective and healthy way. Directory (or not): chosen by the student and the teacher. My preference goes to jazz and all its branches and roots (bossa, brazilian, blues, gospel, polyphony, ...) because it's for me the best training but I'm open and I sing myself (almost) every other styles ;-) Improvisation: the best for the end :-) listening exercise, creativity, self-expression, voice and musicality. Through very progressive and clear exercises, we will explore (if the pupil desires) vocal improvisation. Music lessons for children (from 1 year to + -6-7 years old): Animation of 30 min or 45 min (depending on age) with the same structure that remains, the songs change. Song or rhythmic activity to say hello Gesture song (fine psychomotricity) Songs with maracas eggs (keep a pulse, manipulate the eggs, work on coordination) Presentation of a musical instrument Song to be accompanied by children of different percussion instruments Song to move or dance Pre music theory or recognition exercise of noises or instruments (depends on age) Song to say goodbye

Trusted teacher: English Translation: contact me please SONGS generally consist of chord and text lines. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hIT or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you already play the guitar or piano, you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antennas are always open :-) and for some it is a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and minor input - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can achieve strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to share my knowledge about how to write a song with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book an hour to get started. That is the scan hour. Are we lying together and is there a click? If you book and I confirm, then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

I offer lessons of flute and recorder in three languages (French, English & Italian). If you are a big fun of art noveau buildings you can come to my house in Schaerbeek. Or if you leave too far, I can come to your place. My name is Matteo and I am an Italian flutist and musicologist, based in Brussels since 2010. I graduated in modern flute at 'B. Marcello' Conservatory in Venice and at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with Barthold Kuijken and Frank Theuns in the Baroque flute. I hold a master degree in Philosophy and Musicology as well. I am currently a PhD candidate at Cardiff University, School of Music. From 2013 till 2015, I have been teaching at the Venice Conservatory "B. Marcello", giving yearly lectures and seminaries on the historical repertoire for the fute. I recorded for Warner Classics & Erato, and a soloist for Arcana/Outhere Music ('La solitude à deux. Solos and duets by G. P. Telemann' in 2018 and 'Affect is no Crime. New music for old instruments' in 2019). Trusted teacher: Dear parents and students, I am a professional singer and pianist from Hong Kong, having more than 10 years of experience in music teaching. I graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in music (with honors), Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with a Master degree in classical singing (with distinction) and also the Post-master degree in classical singing (with distinction). I am currently a professional opera singer working mainly in Germany with conductors and directors from houses and studios such as Theater Rudolstadt, Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Komische Oper Berlin and Royal Opera House. I am a holder of Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) vocal and piano performance certificates, both with distinctions (97/100 for voice and 90/100 for piano). Besides, I am a holder of DipABRSM piano performance certificate and ABRSM Grade 8 music theory certificate with merit. I have been giving private singing and piano lessons to students ranging from 3 to 50 years of age. Very happily, all of them had obtained distinctions at their ABRSM exams, some of them also won first prize at competitions. However, I do not teach music because of this. Distinctions and prizes are bonuses, but most importantly, I hope my students can enjoy and understand music. For beginners, I focus very much on building basic techniques. Alongside with that, I spend a little time on every lesson for ear training, music theory, music history, sight-reading/sight-singing, music composition, instrumentation and conducting, depending on the interest of the student. For more advanced students, I teach more about musicality and presentation. I aim to provide all-round knowledge to my students so they will be well equipped for future development. For piano students who are at the beginning of their music journey, I use a lot of creative ways to teach basic knowledge such as rhythm and fingering. These creative ways include colorful presentation slides, arranging a tailor-made version of the songs they like and introducing fun games to keep them motivated. Each student will get something different because everyone is different. As an instructor of vocal masterclasses for choir students in Hong Kong, I see myself as the person who: -- opens the door of fundamental vocal techniques for the students; -- influences them to be confident; -- shows them the beauty of human voice and vocal music; -- teaches them to embrace the others without judgement. My way and attitude of teaching was proved to be successful with a lot of positive feedback. I tend to plan my classes in detail, and give notes to students every lesson. In this case, the students can follow the lessons easily and make the best out of their time. I do not make my students always say "yes" and "okay", I like to work with them and they are always welcome to tell me their needs. Since I grew up at one of the best English schools in Hong Kong (Belilios Public School) and I have a lot of English-speaking students, I can communicate in English very fluently without accent. Besides English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese are my mother tongues. I am also knowledgeable in German, French and Italian. I am confident that I will provide my students the best learning experience.

Trusted teacher: I published music under the names of Gelivan and Costals. An album and EP in 2017 as Gelivan, then singles in 2019. In 2020 I will release a project a month, minimum, with several videos. My mission is to live music by December 31, 2020 with a prosperous income. I want to be a major player in the world of music and help young people to progress, excel and live. I have an approach that does not dwell too much on the technique, I work rather on the optimal conditioning to become a prolific creator while having fun. Our meetings, associated with your motivation and your daily constancy, will lead you to develop your creativity and will bring you an unequaled satisfaction. It is important that you are strongly determined to make the most of my support. I suggest we see each other once a week, ideally the same day at the same time to make it easier. To create my music, I mainly use Ableton Live, and I highly recommend this same program to my students. I also create a lot of sketches on my iPhone with the Auxy app. Suggestions of habits to develop to become a prolific creator and create a music of your own: - devote at least 10 minutes every day to musical creation - collect sounds that you find interesting - you can record what surrounds you with your smartphone, sample movie dialogues, bits of other music etc. - create a reference playlist with your favorite songs (the most varied possible) - listen actively for 15 minutes of different music, be attentive to the different elements and make notes on what touches us, several listening by focusing on different elements.

Piano lessons, Music Theory for children and adults (The Hague)
João
I have been taking private lessons from Joao for more than 6 months and I am completely thrilled with it! Although I am a beginner in piano, I can see that Joao is very knowledgeable in his field. What I like most is that he utilizes technology very effectively to help me understand tricky theoretical concepts. He also prepares tailored exercises for me, which makes me feel very valued. He really puts his time in preparing homeworks and supplementary documents even before and after the class to be sure that I understand what he is teaching. Joao is also quite responsive. He is very flexible in terms of the course content and willing to adapt to my changing needs over time. Still, as a teacher, he keeps in mind what foundations I need to build and he does not lose track of what I want as an ultimate goal, so he comes with a structured curriculum that I realize over time. I can only recommend Joao if you are looking for a dedicated piano teacher who loves what he does.

Violin lessons, music theory and history of music (Brussels)
Katia
I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)

Piano Lessons for Levels Beginner-Advanced, Classical and Contemporary styles (Antwerp)
Lydia
I had my first lesson today and I was immediately struck with the feeling that I am in the presence of a maestro in Piano playing, a professor in teaching and an extremely patient pedagogue. It was like Lydia knew me for years and instantaneously detected my strengths and my weaknesses in my piano playing and practice. I am an adult student and I highly recommend Lydia for all ages and all levels. An exceptional teacher that provides and exceptional lesson experience.
