Through having this professional performance experience, I teach with enthusiasm and a sense of openness. I have developed a flexible teaching technique which I adapt to each particular student. I am friendly and patient whilst also being clear and concise. In our lessons I believe it is essential for the student to feel at ease, and therefore my main goal is always to create a safe and free environment to discover and try new things! Perhaps you sing or play as a hobby, or maybe you would like to take serious steps towards training as a professional performer. My knowledge of singing provides advanced tuition to all of my students, whatever level or genre you may be at or would like to start working at- each one of my students have different goals and intentions we are working towards together. I can help you to proceed through singing/instrumental/music theory grades, also teaching the aural aspects, but I am also as happy to teach those who would prefer to sing/play/study for fun without taking grades. In our singing lessons we will cover a range of skills, such as posture, diction, breathing, self-expression and the most important ways to take care of your voice. Trusted teacher: My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!
