I mainly teach drums to children who want to learn to play the drums. The youthful enthusiasm is worth its weight in gold. Of course I also teach adults. The lessons are tailor-made and adapted to what you want to achieve. Starting with basic techniques and rhythms, tips and tricks in combination with scores if desired. I have been playing drums for 35 years and studied jazz at higher school. I also have a lot of band and stage experience. The time and duration of the lessons can be tailored to your preference. Lessons of 30 minutes or 60 minutes determine the distance. The lessons are at the student's home.

The flute it’s a quite complex instrument, where the challenge is to find the balance between all the parameter, such as posture(in order to learn how to play fast passage), lips and everything concerning breathing technique(in order to get the best clear and powerful sound). It’ my job to guide the student in order to let him/her find that stability in order to get best results possible.

My name is Davy, I am 34 years old and have had the guitar in my fingers for 25 years. I graduated from the Music Academy Tongeren for both classical and electric guitar. In addition, I attended 2 years of Conservatory Jazz at LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmens Institute. I started teaching in various situations since I was 16, both group lessons and individual lessons on instrument and music theory. Sharing my knowledge with others has always been a great passion. That is why I now offer private lessons tailored to my needs where I live in Leuven. This for both acoustic, classical and electric guitar in a range of styles. What you can expect is not a fixed course that we go over from A to Z, but a course that we build ourselves, as it were, focused on your musical taste, knowledge and goal on your instrument. Together with you, I will look at how I can teach you the necessary basics in a way that you can use it best for the genres you want to learn to play. I look forward to going on this musical journey of discovery with you!

Since I was 4 years old, piano has taken a big place in my life and heart, because my father has taught me ever since. I am extremely excited to share my passion with interested people, whatever their age! I pay a lot of attention to the position at the piano, so that no injuries occur. I also talk a lot about musical lines and how to produce a good sound on the piano. If you have not taken solfège, I am very happy to help with that as well along with the piano study. Playing the piano is very personal for everyone, both technically and musically. That is why I think it is very important to look for the best solutions and adapt to each individual student, so that he or she can create his or her own bond with music. I am currently finishing my Masters with Jan Vermeulen at Luca School of Arts, Leuven.

20 year old student in Leuven who likes to help people get a lot of pleasure / support from playing the classical guitar. Just graduated after 11 years of conservatory classical guitar. 9 years basic diploma and 2 years specialization classical guitar. In addition, followed the following courses: music theory / music history / improvisation (this on electric guitar) / band coaching / ensemble playing / rock school ... Can impart the most on a technical level and in the field of interpretation on the classical guitar. In consultation with the student during the first lesson, we determine what we want to achieve by the end of the lesson / lesson series. A particular piece? A new interpretation for a particular piece, a particular genre in which you are looking for a piece and want to learn? Something that always goes wrong? technical help? .. To get more enjoyment out of playing the guitar!

Playing the cello is a skill that takes some time to learn. We will get through lots of pieces and do a lot of playing in classes. In some lessons, if necessary, we will learn about music theory as well, which helps us read music better and get to know our pieces better!

Are you a beginner who has started to learn guitar on his own, and can't see the trees for the wood anymore? Or do you already have some experience and want to learn something new? Then you've come to the right place! About myself: I have been playing both guitar and bass guitar for 8 years. I also have a solid foundation in music theory. I took lessons with Kristof Neyens (rock school leuven) for several years, and now I would like to share my experience. Classes: Depending on your preference, we can draw up a lesson plan together with individual assignments. I also try to work as much as possible with the genres that you like to listen to yourself, this is of course more motivating (after all, you don't want to try to teach Mozart to a Metal fan ;)) My approach is certainly not like that of the 'music theory' at the academy. From your first lesson you will immediately start playing songs. I only use music theory if it is really necessary or if you would like to delve into it. Practical: I follow distance education so I can actually go at any time of the week, online lessons are also a possibility. If you contact me and tell me which times suit you, we can certainly find a fixed time together!
