With 7 years of experience behind me and around forty students, I noticed that the best teaching method was a transversal approach, working from the beginning on musical expression using compositions adapted to the student's level, as well as exercises focused on paying attention to our body, our movements and our musical intention. This approach adapts to everyone's desires. Adults and children of all ages are welcome, the first lesson always being free, at my home on a Grand piano. With children, this takes the form of age-appropriate, playful teaching, with which I identify one or two specific objectives to achieve that allow complex concepts to be communicated in a simple way. Learning through physical experience allows all of these things to be approached in a guided and easily accessible way.

If you tried to sing, but you have problems with the technics. If you have strugles find your own voice. If you want to learn light music, jazz, maybe the folk music of the county of Béla Bartók (Hungary), and you havent find a teacher. If you want an experience of a new perspective, I am your teacher. About me: I am Csilla from Hungary, coming to Brussels to play music. I have a National Certification Register as a jazz-musician from Hungary. I have studied with many wonderful diferent teachers, and saw diferent methods. I think there is more than one way to go with vocals, and teaching vocals, but the basics are the same. Many students has strugles to open up to theyr teachers, and many has with understanding the explanation of the techics. I think a good teacher just show the students the ways they can choose, and do not decide it for them, but giving a strong basic knowledge at the same time, and keep open minded.

Harmony, melody and rhythm is what music is made of. That's all. Those three things. Although sometimes these things can be hard to distinguish. Feeling music is a completely different story though and is not something you can measure or maybe even define. With understanding the basics or more profound structures in music you might find a new dimension with the feeling and appreciation you have for the sounds that you love. Answers, exercises, solutions. We can find them together in a quest to find your questions about eartraining and jazzpiano. We can work on fingerings with exercises in partition, specific voicings, left- and right hand coördination, eartraining exercises from beginner up to conservatory level and more specific issues. I studied three years jazzpiano at the Lemmens Conservatory in Leuven, Belgium and played keys in a pop/funk band based in Brussels for about the same amount of time. Now i work in construction but still play piano everyday because music is beautiful!
