I specialise in Spanish tutoring for teenagers, originally from Barcelona and based in China for 13 years, with 10 years of experience teaching Spanish in international schools in Shanghai. I have worked with both British and American curricula and specialise in Spanish exam preparation, including IGCSE Spanish, A-Level Spanish and AP Spanish, as well as support for students following the IB Spanish programme. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and have completed over 3,000 hours of teaching at an official Spanish institution. There, I taught Spanish courses at all levels, prepared students for official DELE exams (including A2–B1 Escolar), and contributed to the organisation of cultural activities. My Spanish lessons for teenagers focus on building solid grammatical foundations, strong speaking skills and exam confidence, supported by carefully designed materials and a personalised approach. Each course begins with an initial diagnostic lesson, during which I assess the student’s level, build a learner profile, set clear goals together with the student, and propose a tailored study plan. Progress is reviewed regularly, and a written progress report is provided every 10 lessons, outlining achievements, areas for improvement and next steps, so that progress is measurable and transparent. I offer online Spanish lessons adapted to each student’s level and school programme. Languages for explanations: English (preferred), Chinese, and French. Rates: negotiable for long-term learning plans.
