Trusted teacher: Hi students and music lovers ! Piano is a fun and rewarding way to explore music for people of all ages, whether you've played music before or not, and is one of the most accessible instruments right from the first lesson! I teach with a variety of pop-transcriptions and easy Classical pieces, simple improvisation and harmony exercises, and am comfortable adapting to each pupils own way of learning. If you're new to piano, or have played before and want to rekindle your love of music, get in touch to arrange a first lesson! I will book us a room with a grand piano at the Academy. I graduated Master’s cum laude in Piano Performance at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre studying with prof. Peep Lassmann, who was himself a student of the great Russian pianist Emil Gilels. I have 12 years' private teaching experience, and was employed by Märjamaa Music and Art School as a 1:1 piano teacher in 2018-19. I also have a BMus (Hons) degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and DipABRSM, the standard professional teaching qualification in the UK. Reviews from current students: "Jamie is an amazing teacher. I had no knowledge of piano before him and was worried in general of being able to learn. His way of explaining, patience and incredible passion for music gave me the push to try and are reinforcing my motivation to learn more day-by-day. Our classes are alive, fun, and so much like a continuous journey through all the aspects of piano music." - Angelyk "Jamie makes this comfortable atmosphere, you'll never be afraid to make a mistake. I learned a song already in my second/third lesson. 🙂 " - Taimi

Bonjour. Je m'appelle Alari. Je parle un peu français. Je regarde la télévision française pour apprendre la langue, la culture, la civilisation occidentale, au niveau international, etc, c’est très très intéressant pour moi. Mais, j’ai oublié. J'ai déjà oublié, parce que tout le monde parle l’anglais. France was actually a stepping stone in my life. Later on in my life I studied English Language Teaching in London. The Cambridge grammar of English language is actually the most expensive book I’ve ever bought. It’s tiny letters and 1842 pages of grammar. From this point of view, English is very difficult. It is also very easy if you want to study just everyday social skills, and spoken language. As well Estonian can be a very easy language to learn. Everyday social skills and vocabulary; it is very similar to Finnish language, also some words from German, if you know something. Academic language is similar to Greek, Latin, French and English. And business language... It’s mathematics and based-on international communication. So, it depends on you, what kind of language, you need. I’ve been teaching since 2007. About 15 years now. My first teaching job was actually a music teacher. This is my home and this is my digital piano. I play sometimes but over 9 years I’ve been working with children with special educational needs. Those children cannot speak Estonian language properly. I work together with a speech therapist and I teach speaking, reading and writing. I teach everything at primary level. So, basically, I’m the teacher of life skills. If you need to know languages or music... Feel free to contact (me). Welcome to my home, as Estonians would like to say: “Tere tulemast minu koju ja kohtumisteni”. See You!

Trusted teacher: Congratulations on wanting to practice your English! Are you looking to improve your pronunciation, grammar, and fluency? Do you want to feel more confident speaking English at work or when traveling (post-Covid!)? You have come to the right place. My name is Vicki and I would like to make personalized language classes just for you! About me: I am a native US English speaker with a neutral accent. Practicing yoga, snuggling with cats, traveling, and learning languages are my main hobbies. Besides the United States, I have lived in 7 other countries and I work in academic research. My fluent foreign languages are Spanish and Italian and I am currently learning German. For me, learning other languages is about communicating and connecting with other people by conveying ideas in written and spoken language. I hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, earned in 2009, and have taught English in 4 countries to young adults, adults, and seniors over the last 11 years, from beginner A1 to advanced C2, including Business English. About the classes: The style and work involved depends on your needs! I always provide in-class feedback and optional follow-up written exercises. For more advanced (B2-C2) levels who wish to improve fluency, I normally offer relaxed, causal conversation classes with optional grammar exercises and writing for homework. I will correct and comment on the exercises, to review together the following class. We will focus on your goals, for example, building specific vocabulary, practicing phrasal verbs, or improving intonation. For intermediate students (around B1), I recommend conversation classes focused on a specific subject each time we meet. For example, we may discuss a news article, film, or current event to practice pronunciation, express opinions, and build new vocabulary. At this stage, I can help you conquer the fear of speaking and to avoid searching for the "right word". Instead, we will focus on you feeling relaxed and comfortable while expressing yourself in English. How to start: On our first meeting, we will organize our plan to achieve your learning objectives. We will also arrange for how long and how often we will meet for lessons. That's it!

Raef
I found Dr. Ralf to be a wonderful Teacher. The things that he taught me through online helped me a great deal in this class as well as in statistic level. Because of the help and attention that He provided me with, I understand and enjoy Statistics. The class was great in that he didn’t just give the answers away – he made me THINK. This was sort of frustrating, but it helped me understand the material much better. I would recommend him as a Teacher for future classes, without a doubt.
