Mathematical support of excellence – French high school & missionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematical support of excellence – French high school & missionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics tuition in Birmingham, taught by a qualified engineer and university lecturerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics tuition in Birmingham, taught by a qualified engineer and university lecturerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I teach one-to-one Maths and Physics to GCSE, A-Level and university students, online and in person around Birmingham. I hold an MSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Chester, where I now teach and assess postgraduate students as a visiting lecturer. Alongside that I've been tutoring privately for several years, across GCSE, A-Level and first-year university modules. I've published two international conference papers, so the maths I teach isn't something I learned once and repeat from a textbook. I use it. What I cover: GCSE Maths and Physics, all exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics University Maths and engineering modules for science and engineering students Individual topics including algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, mechanics and logic How I teach: Every student starts in a different place, so the first thing I do is find out what they actually understand rather than what the syllabus assumes they should. From there I break difficult ideas into small steps, work through plenty of examples, and set focused practice between sessions. I care more about a student knowing why a method works than memorising the steps, because understanding is what survives exam pressure when a question is worded unfamiliarly. Lessons are structured but relaxed. Students should feel comfortable asking the questions they think are silly, because those are usually the ones that matter most. I'm patient with mistakes and honest about what still needs work. If a student isn't ready for a topic, I'll say so and we'll go back a step rather than pretend otherwise. Term has just started, which is the best point in the year to build a routine before mocks in November and December. If your child is beginning Year 11 or Year 13, or retaking GCSE Maths this November, putting support in place now makes a real difference by the time the real papers arrive.

Maths --- Tutoring for Middle/High School Level, French and AEFE CurriculumTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Maths --- Tutoring for Middle/High School Level, French and AEFE CurriculumTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Videoconference classes for students in grades 6, 5, 4 and 3 of the French program, both in France and in the network of French schools abroad. In middle school, difficulties in math rarely stem from the current chapter. They almost always originate from a foundation established two or three years earlier: fractions, proportionality, algebraic expressions. As long as these concepts aren't revisited, each new chapter exacerbates the situation. My work begins by identifying this missing foundation. Master's degree in Operations Research (applied mathematics), more than five years of private tutoring for students in the AEFE and Mission laïque networks, in both public and private institutions. What we are working on Numbers, fractions, algebraic expressions, equations Proportionality, percentages, statistics Plane geometry, theorems of Thales and Pythagoras, transformations Preparation for the patent Working method: read a problem statement, choose an approach, check a result The process Initial assessment during the first sessions, a catch-up plan, followed by a regular weekly schedule. I align with the classroom teacher's approach and provide exercises between sessions. A monthly written progress report is available for parents who wish to receive it. I also offer pre-start preparation sessions, to get a head start on the year rather than being late. Courses in French, English or Arabic.

I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company. I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 11 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools. Additionally, I hold the position of president at the Astronomy Society, where I foster my students' interest in astronomy and science beyond the lessons. I prepare the learning environment by incorporating experiments and exploration, moving away from rote education. I often bring experimental materials to class, aiming to make learning memorable through hands-on experiments. As an educational mentor, I approach my students as if they were my siblings, valuing creativity. I have a deep passion for mathematics, physics, and science. I am dedicated to helping students understand and learn because life encompasses both SCIENCE and ART. The more people I can inspire to know, understand, and love mathematics, physics, and chemistry, the more proud I am. Are you curious about how nature works? Let's explore together!

High school & university math and physics — clear explanations, exam-focusedTranslate this text using Google Translate.

High school & university math and physics — clear explanations, exam-focusedTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I help high-school and university students understand mathematics and physics instead of memorizing steps. I have a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering (mechatronics / dynamics and control) and I work as a mechatronic system engineer. That background is useful: I constantly use calculus, linear algebra, differential equations and mechanics at work, so I can show why a method exists, not only how to apply it. Typical students • High school: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, physics, exam preparation • University: calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, mechanics-related physics • Adults returning to study or catching up after a weak semester How a lesson works 1. We start from your exam sheet, homework, or the chapter that is blocking you. 2. I rebuild the core idea with diagrams and simple examples until it is solid. 3. We practice exam-style questions and I show the shortcuts markers reward. 4. After the session you receive the notes in Word or OneNote, so you can revise without guessing what we covered. Online lessons use Google Meet plus OneNote, so we write on the same page. Sessions last 60 or 90 minutes. I teach in English, and if required Italian, and I adapt the pace to beginner, intermediate or advanced level. If you have a test in two weeks, send the syllabus or a past paper before the first lesson. We will make a short plan and start immediately.

Math support and reinforcement lessons for all levels – simplified explanations, exercises, and exam preparationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Math support and reinforcement lessons for all levels – simplified explanations, exercises, and exam preparationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Peace be upon you, I am pleased to offer you support and reinforcement lessons in mathematics for the benefit of pupils and students, according to the level and need, in a simple, gradual and clear way. My goal is not just to help the student complete the exercises or get a good grade, but to help him understand mathematics, gain confidence in himself, and learn how to think and search for the solution on his own. During the lessons, I focus on: • Review and explanation of lessons — Révision et explication des cours • Addressing weaknesses — Remédiation des difficultés • Simplification of mathematical concepts • Solving exercises and problems — Résolution d'exercices et de problèmes Preparing for assignments and exams — Préparation aux contrôles et aux examens • Learn solution methods and ideas — Méthodes et astuces de résolution • Error analysis and correction — Analyse et correction des erreurs • Developing independence of thought — Développement de l'autonomie et du raisonnement I don't prefer to give the solution directly. I first give the student a chance to try, think, and research, then I guide them step by step through appropriate hints and questions until they arrive at the solution themselves and understand the method. Depending on the level, one can work on various mathematics lessons, including: Number sets — Les ensembles de nombres Fractions — Les fractions Powers — Les puissances Square roots — Les racines carrées Literal arithmetic — Calcul littéral Development and Factorisation Notable identities Equations Inequalities Systems of equations — Systèmes d'équations Functions Study of functions — Étude des fonctions Limits Continuity Derivation Primitives Integral calculus Differential equations — Équations différentielles Numerical sequences — Suites numériques Exponential function — Fonction exponentielle logarithmic function Trigonometry Complex numbers Plane geometry Space engineering — Géométrie dans l'espace Straight lines and planes in space — Droites et plans dans l'espace Vectors — Vecteurs Scalar product Vector product Analytical Geometry Probabilities Statistics Counting — Dénombrement Reasoning by regression And other lessons according to the program and the student's level. I also make sure to teach the student how to read the question, how to discover the important information, how to choose the appropriate method, and how to verify the correctness of his answer. My goal is for mathematics to become an understandable, organized, and less difficult subject for the student, and for them to gradually move from waiting for the solution to being able to search for it themselves. The number of students I follow up with is limited according to my available time, because I prefer the quality of follow-up and communication with each student over the large number. Welcome to every student who wants to understand, progress and improve their level in mathematics.

Baia was instrumental in helping my daughter prepare for the OMPT-F exam. From the very first lesson, she was organized, knowledgeable, and focused on the areas that mattered most for success on the test. What sets Baia apart is her ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, structured way while building confidence at the same time. Her engineering background gives her a deep understanding of mathematics and allows her to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts work. She provided targeted practice materials, mock exams, and clear guidance on the key topics that carried the highest impact. Baia was always responsive to questions between lessons and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was fully prepared. Thanks to her support, my daughter developed a much stronger understanding of mathematics and a more positive attitude toward the subject. She now approaches challenging problems with far more confidence than before. I highly recommend Baia to anyone preparing for the OMPT exams, university mathematics, or looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and highly effective math tutor.

The personalized attention given to each student's learning style ensures a comprehensive understanding of the material. What stands out about Mavi is not only her expertise but also their commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Students benefit from a supportive atmosphere that encourages collaboration and open communication. In summary, I highly recommend Mavi as a math teacher. her professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to student success make them an invaluable asset.

Dr. Ettayyebi is by far one of the most patient educators I’ve ever met. Not only is he deeply knowledgeable in mathematics and logical reasoning, but he’s also incredibly personable and easy to talk to. I’m embarrassingly bad at math, yet he’s never made me feel ashamed of it—something I can’t say for most tutors I’ve had in the past. Instead, he’s gone the extra mile to create a tailored learning path for me and all his students, one that meets our goals while strengthening our weak spots. I highly recommend Dr. Ettayyebi for learners of any age—whether you’re brushing up on existing material or prepping for an entrance exam. If you’re looking for a customized educational plan with a hands-on approach (though he also offers online sessions), Dr. Ettayyebi is your guy.
