I am a French student at the Ecole Polytechnique and a Doppelmaster at Hochenergiephysik at ETH Zurich. The Ecole Polytechnique is set at Platz 1 of the Swiss Universities in France and is one of its selective schools with the Schwerpunkt auf Mathematik, Physik and Computer sciences. I am a French student at Ecole Polytechnique completing a dual master's degree at ETH Zurich in high energy physics. Ecole Polytechnique regularly ranks #1 among science universities in France and is a highly selective school with a special emphasis on mathematics, physics, and computer science. I would like to pursue a career in research/teaching in astrophysics/cosmology and have teaching experience. I have given weekly oral exams to undergraduate students in physics. I also won the 14th edition of the International Physicists Tournament as a member of the Ecole Polytechnique team. I completed an internship at the University of Tokyo on the topic of primordial gravitational waves and their influence on the polarization of the cosmic microwave background.

Trusted teacher: CONTENTS : This course is aimed at university students, in the field of mathematics. This course is also suitable for students at EPFL as well as students of mathematics and physics), but also for faculties of economics (except economic mathematics), or medicine for example. The goal is simple: to help you understand by yourself and acquire an intuition of the desired mathematical concepts, as well as the resolution of the exercises. The courses cover a number of subjects. The student chooses the desired branch (the choices are listed below (*). Additional drills can be provided upon request. (*)The topics covered in this course are: -Analysis I, Advanced Analysis I [one-variable real analysis, integration, etc...] -Analysis II, Advanced Analysis II [real multivariate analysis, integration, differential equations, etc...] -Linear Algebra I [linear maps, matrices, determinants, diagonalization (AL2), etc...] -Advanced Linear Algebra I [AL1, dual spaces, multilinear forms, groups, rings, fields, etc...] -Advanced Linear Algebra II [Gram-Schmidt, Orthogonality, Sylvester, SVD, QR, MSA, Jordan, SEDL, Hermite, Smith] -Algebraic structures [Basic logic, sets, equivalence relations, classes, quotients, groups, etc...] -Discrete mathematics [combinatorics, generating functions, basis of graph theory, probabilistic approach] Note: For more information regarding the contents of the topics, we can discuss. The courses are flexible. SIZE: The course can be given face-to-face in the Lausanne region (preferably Renens / Ecublens) or Geneva (preferably center) depending on my travel availability (this is to be agreed by message with me directly, this option only appears by default in my schedules available below). Otherwise, the course is generally given by Zoom with screen sharing where I generally write by hand). The notes during the course are sent to the student after the course is completed in PDF format. For more availability, please contact me. The courses are based on my experience (EPFL, mathematics section). Hoping to be able to help you.

Julien
Julien helped me learn the material for my university statistics exams. He was very patient and gave very clear explanations about the concepts we were discussing. He was friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging. He prepared material in advance for each lesson depending on my personal needs. I'm pleased to say he helped me succeed in my final exams despite the fact that I'd never really studied statistics before! I am very glad I chose him as my tutor and I recommend him to anyone else seeking mathematics or statistics tutoring, whether in person or remotely.

Benson
I have a very positive impression on the first day of my child's tutorials. He seems to have a dominion over the subjects he taught: IGCSE Math, Physics and chemistry. We never doubted of changing the teacher, but already agreed to continue a regular reinforcement classes with him until summer at least. My child has understood better the selected topics discussed he missed to cope in school. Kudos to Mr. Benson. I'm grateful and privileged to have chosen him for my child's tutor.

Baia
Baia has been really helpful in my coding journey. She is patient, listens to my needs and adapts the lesson to them. We go through exercises and she makes sure I understand what I do. In addition to this, she makes herself available outside of the lessons timeframe in case I have questions with my homework!
