A typical class would start with warm-up exercises, then we would work on repertoire that I can suggest (after I can assess the vocal range). Of course you can always take pieces with you! I can also accompany you on the piano for my own repertoire suggestions. The human voice is the instrument closest to us. Therefore, I believe that through voice training, you not only discover the joy of singing, but also get to know yourself and your own body much better. I am studying solo singing myself and am therefore very much looking forward to meeting motivated and musical singers. Above all, a natural and healthy singing technique is very important to me, because only then do you have the right tools to work musically and interpretatively. My current schedule changes every week (rehearsals/university/concerts) so for now I would always make appointments a week in advance instead of keeping a fixed date every week.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace.
