I studied the violin for about 2 months with Fermin and I have grown much in my knowledge of not just how to play but how to think when playing. Fermin has also helped a lot with technical struggles allowing me to break through some of the challenges that were bothering me for a long time. He is a very patient teacher but he will not hesitate to stop you and correct you (as any good teacher would) if you are not playing correctly. I personally requested that he gives me honest feedback which really helped me play better tecnically and musically. I believe he will be open to adapting his strictness upon specific requests. The time difference (Fermin being in Spain and I being in the US) has not been easy but Fermin was very willing to bend his schedule and provided several time slots to accommodate my availability. Ewa is an excellent violin teacher, I would highly recommend her to anyone who may wish to learn the violin. Ewa is, by far, one of the best music teachers I have worked with. She is patient, and has been excellent in explaining the importance of fundamentals. While I may be an absolute beginner it is easy to see how the fundamentals being taught will assist when more complex repertoire is attempted. She is also phenomenal at identifying which aspects of playing need focus an attention. It is evident that Ewa is a consummate professional and her wealth of experience is an asset to anyone trying to learn this notoriously complex instrument. I can also say that there is no issue in working by way of an online learning platform.

I'm really glad that I can take bass lessons from Christophe, as a professional bass player, he has really good skills and can adapt easily according to students' levels and preferences. Also, he is really responsible, and he sent the course notes to me very promptly after each lesson, which helped me to memorize better.
