My name is Denise and I am a professional singer and vocal coach with a Master’s degree in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). I have over 10 years of teaching experience in Europe and Latin America, working with students from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds in private lessons, artistic projects, and educational contexts. My artistic work includes early music and chamber repertoire, as well as Latin American folk, jazz, and contemporary crossover styles. This diversity strongly informs my teaching approach, which is flexible, stylistically open, and based on healthy vocal function.

My whole biography: Klára has started playing the piano at the age of four at music school in Mariánské Lázně under the guidance of her mother Marie. Since 2024 she has studied at University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Since childhood she has regularly participated in national and international competitions. In November 2023 she was awarded the 2nd prize at Soutěž Nadace Bohuslava Martinů, further she won f. e. the 1st prize at the “Broumov key”, the 2nd prize at the Ile-de-France international competition in Paris and the 2nd prize at the Fryderyk Chopin international competition in Mariánské Lázně. In December 2022, she received the title of laureate at the Prague Conservatory's international competition “Young Piano”, where she was also awarded the main prize "Young Piano Talent". In 2021, she won 2nd prize and a special prize for her interpretation of Stravinsky/Agosti's Firebird (1st prize not awarded) in the international competition Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte, 3rd prize in the international competition Bach's Way in Dobřany and 3rd prize in the Brno ́s piano competition. In the year 2020, she was awarded the "Pilsen ́s Orfeus'' award for representing the Pilsen region in the field of classical music, namely for the 3rd prize in the “Broumov key” competition. She has performed with several orchestras in the Czech republic. In the season 2024/2025 she performed with Janáčkova Filharmonie in Ostrava as a soloist of the first Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto. In June 2023 and 2025 she was invited to the Academy in Villecroze for masterclass. In 2021, she got the opportunity to attend the Ševčík Academy in the class of Lukáš Vondráček and Yuri Shadrin. Now she collaborates with Ševčík academy as an accompanist.

On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year. I am a Greek violinist, originally from Thessaloniki. I have lived in Vienna since 2009 and completed my studies at the MUK Private University in the class of Lidia Baich. Before that, I studied at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow. I offer individually tailored lessons in composition, free improvisation, and piano for students of all levels — from beginners to advanced musicians. Composition Lessons focus on developing a personal musical language through both creative work and analytical study. We analyze scores from various periods, including the 20th and 21st centuries. We explore contemporary compositional techniques, form, harmony, texture, and extended instrumental techniques (including their notation). Students are guided in building original works while strengthening their artistic identity. Free Improvisation This course combines practical exercises with the analysis of selected works and recordings in experimental and improvised music. The aim is to liberate musical expression while consciously shaping an individual musical language. The course is not dedicated to any single style or genre, but rather focuses on helping each participant discover and develop their own artistic voice and approach to music-making. It is suitable not only for beginners, but also for advanced musicians seeking to expand their vocabulary and deepen their artistic practice. There is no restriction to a single instrument: participants are welcome to bring their own instrument or join without any instrument at all. Lessons can take place both individually and in small groups. This format is also highly suitable for children, as improvisation encourages imagination, confidence, and a playful exploration of sound.
