(A Maqam is a sequence of musical notes according to specific intervals and fixed rules for classifying the musical melody.) Applying the Maqam by practicing Arabic songs. This class is perfect for your children who want to learn the basics of Western singing and work on the voice. I start my class with breathing techniques and vocalization which is essential as a process to determine the timbre of the voice, control the regularity, the quality of the sound emission and thus warm up the voice. Then, depending on your child's preference, I will either suggest a song and he chooses to work on it or not, or he chooses a song he would like to work on and I teach him all the techniques to get there.

I am a trained classical singer from Berlin, but I would like to install myself in Athens. In class, we will build your vocal technique with which you can sing about anything you'd like. As a yoga teacher, I focus on a holistic approach to singing using also yogic tools to improve technique and performance.
