Fundamental Thought: ANYONE CAN LEARN TO SING! It's important to know this! The singing voice is part of our human capabilities, it's just not taught in our culture, but EVERYONE can learn! FOR WHOM: This course is for anyone who wants to learn to sing, speak in public, or improve their speaking voice. Children, teenagers, and adults alike, there's no age limit to start learning ;) Whether you are a complete beginner (and wish to develop a healthy and solid foundation) or an intermediate (to continue to evolve and develop your technique) this is the right place for you and I would be delighted to accompany you on this exciting journey towards the singing voice! MINDSET: - First of all, we always work with gentleness, kindness and joy ; ) Singing is a very intimate act, which puts us in a form of vulnerability, so it is essential to work with confidence to feel free to experiment, to make mistakes and to evolve healthily. The goal is to develop technically and artistically, at your own pace, and with joy! - It's important to be kind to yourself: learning vocal technique can take time; it requires patience, perseverance, and confidence to see results ;) POSITIONING: My teaching method is simple: find what works for you, in relation to your goals and what challenges you. I constantly adapt my approach and exercises to the student I have in front of me. We always start from what the body can do (the spoken voice) to take it towards the singing voice. We never work by force or against the body's natural processes: we always strive for a healthy vocal technique, free from tension and pain ;) PROCEDURE: During the first lesson, we will start by taking stock of the situation, seeing what is already in place and what needs to be worked on. Afterwards : - Vocal preparation (warm-up), - Technical exercises (to progress towards the defined objectives), - Work on the song of your choice (to put it into practice). *///*NEW: MONTHLY GROUP WORKSHOPS*///* What is this ? - A workshop ONCE A MONTH on a weekend (in principle) - In small groups (5 to 8 people) How does it work? A short group warm-up. You play a song excerpt. The group and I provide constructive feedback. You experience a mini individual coaching session (but with the group as an audience and support for objective feedback). Once all the individual coaching sessions are finished, everyone plays their song a second time and we observe everyone's progress :) With the following objectives: - To meet interesting people (other private tutoring students). - To experience a moment together, in a caring and educational environment. - Discovering the stage and learning how to inhabit it in front of an audience (posture, attitude, energy, grounding, self-confidence, etc.) - To work on one's interpretation beyond technique. - To face the gaze of others. - Overcoming shyness and fear of judgment. - To receive feedback from outside sources, other than family or friends, in an educational setting. - Learn from others and be a learning support for others. The idea is that everyone learns from each other during this moment of sharing! Pretty awesome, right?! I hope you will be as excited as I am about doing these Group Workshops! Terms and conditions - One session per month (3 hours) if enough people register. - Between 5 and 8 participants. - No commitment: you can come once on a one-off basis or every time. - Open: you can bring a friend who would like to discover singing, try their hand at performing on stage or test my teaching approach. - Booking required (Place due if cancelled less than 48 hours before the event). *///*Piano Lessons (Accompaniment)*///* For those who wish, I also offer lessons on piano accompaniment for singing. You'll discover the basics of piano and chords (international notation, so no music theory) so you can (eventually) accompany yourself on any song in the world just by reading a chord chart! And that's pretty cool, isn't it? ;) If you have any questions about the courses, teaching methods, or anything else, feel free to send me a message ;) Looking forward to working together! Axel

Singing lessons and vocal technique. Contemporary music - Variety - World musicTranslate this text using Google Translate.

My journey : A singer and actress with diverse training, I have built my artistic journey through complementary experiences and an insatiable curiosity. After six years of conservatory studies in music theory and choir, I turned to pop and variety music. I then explored opera with Zoé Gosset, before joining Les Glotte-Trotters Institute for Vocal Research and Training, directed by Martina A. Catella, where I spent five years developing an approach to singing that I now consider foundational to my practice. Throughout this journey, I have explored various repertoires and sung in numerous languages (French, Greek, Spanish, Armenian, Russian, Arabic, Ukrainian, etc.), each one a window onto different musical worlds and a unique way to inhabit my voice. In parallel, I pursued training in dramatic arts, first with a semi-professional company, then at the Hector Berlioz Conservatory in Paris where I studied for three years, and at the Nadia and Lili Boulanger Conservatory where I dedicated a year to musical theatre. These different approaches gave me a very embodied and comprehensive understanding of singing and vocal techniques in general. A teaching approach that listens to you: My teaching draws heavily on the Glotte-Trotters method: an approach that places the body and sensory awareness at the heart of the work, with particular attention to support, breathing, resonators, and body awareness. A solid theoretical foundation is complemented by exercises that are both playful and challenging, designed to refine vocal perception and production, and develop a keen awareness of oneself. But beyond the exercises, you choose what you sing. Pop, variety, jazz, gospel, world music, folk, rock... the repertoire is open and it's yours. Working on songs that truly move you is the best way to stay motivated and progress with pleasure. The only guideline: that the music speaks to you and that your voice can flourish within it. How a lesson unfolds: Each session follows a structured approach designed to nurture both the voice and the entire body. We begin with a moment of relaxation and breathing exercises, to settle the breath and fully immerse ourselves in the classroom environment. Next comes a physical awakening: the body is the singer's instrument, and it deserves to be awakened before singing. Then come vocal exercises and warm-ups, often interwoven, always tailored to the student's profile and needs. Finally, we delve into the heart of the matter: singing, with attention paid to both technique and interpretation. Because singing well is also about telling a story. Tailor-made courses for all levels: I offer private lessons at my home in Paris, whether you're a beginner or an experienced singer, child or adult. Each lesson is tailored to your individual goals, your vocal style, and your current vocal development. My aim is to help you make your voice an ally and to enjoy exploring and sharing it.

Holistic Online Voice Lessons & Vocal Coaching with an Opera Singer | Vocal Biomechanics, Pitch Matching & Vocal HealthTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Holistic Online Voice Lessons & Vocal Coaching with an Opera Singer | Vocal Biomechanics, Pitch Matching & Vocal HealthTranslate this text using Google Translate.

If you struggle with vocal fatigue, throat tightness on high notes, fear of pitch-matching, or non-surgical hoarseness, you can leave those obstacles behind. Singing and healthy voice production are not fixed, innate talents; they are learnable skills rooted in vocal biomechanics, nervous system regulation, and mind-auditory harmony. At the core of my teaching is an anatomical and holistic approach that frees the voice from rigid, high-pressure drills. I provide a safe, judgment-free space where mistakes are welcomed as a natural part of growth, helping you release involuntary tension in the jaw, tongue root, neck, and posture. In our lessons, we focus on: Biomechanical Range & Ease: Expanding your vocal range and hitting bright, powerful high notes without squeezing or straining the throat. Vocal Health & SOVT Recovery: Restoring vocal stamina and clarity in cases of functional hoarseness, raspiness, or early vocal fatigue using semi-occluded vocal tract (SOVT / Lax Vox) and vocal massage techniques. Pitch Matching & Ear Coordination: Eliminating the fear of singing out of tune with step-by-step auditory exercises designed to accurately connect your ear and vocal muscles. Anxiety & Postural Alignment: Managing performance anxiety and body tension through nervous-system-calming breathwork and balanced postural habits. Occupational Voice Coaching: Strain-free speaking and stamina training for teachers, public speakers, lawyers, and voice professionals. Tailored Digital Practice: Custom audio exercises provided after each lesson to solidify healthy muscle memory at home.

Opera Singing / Kids Vocality: pro Italian Opera Singer with decades of experience on stageTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Opera Singing / Kids Vocality: pro Italian Opera Singer with decades of experience on stageTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m an opera singer, currently actively performing in the contemporary field :) On top of my artistic career, which is now 20+ years old, I have 10 years of solid everyday experience in the musical teaching field, with particular regards for online teaching. My specialties are: teaching opera voice and kids’ vocality. For both of these, any level, even absolute beginner is 100% welcome! I’ve been training children and teens ever since I graduated from my position at La Scala children choir at 18 years old. I love working with kids, and it warms my heart to think of how many little faces I have already had the privilege of meeting thanks to this career. I have helped so many access to the children choirs of their respective cities, and with so many many others I have simply participated in their musical learning journey, which makes me equally proud and happy. Teaching adults is a completely different matter, of course, but it’s probably even more thrilling to me because it allows me to spend the day navigating the fascinating routes of lyrical singing technique. I know how opera studies can be confusing - to say the least; I try my best to represent a safe place for anybody who wants to explore this ancient form of art, as well as to clarify its key points and guide my students to building a correct repertoire. I give lessons for any kind of purpose: - learning music - improving musicality - preparing an audition - finding our own voice - overcoming insecurity Everybody is different, so everybody has their own path to go through; I cater my lessons to the pupil’s needs, and even if the method is always classical, I make sure that the hour of lesson is a fun moment as well as a learning experience. Music is life and life is fun! If what you have read interests you, I’m here to answer all your questions, so don’t be afraid: write me and I’ll see how I can help you! During the lesson, we will take the time to get to know each other better, assess levels and goals, and start to work on them already. I can’t wait to meet you!

I really enjoyed my lesson with Francesca. She has a bright appearance and uplifting energy and teaches very clear, practical and gives a lot of great tips in her lesson. She observes well and is on it. I could really feel the change in my singing, during the lesson. Excited to practice more and to book a new lesson.

Shubha is a very good teacher. She has a lot of patience. She makes you feel at ease. I felt really comfortable with her on our first lesson. I have already decided to book more lessons with her for my voice lessons. Thank you.
