Trusted teacher: FR Je suis une harpiste italienne qui actuellement vit et travaille à Bruxelles. Je suis diplômée (Master of Music in Harp - soliste et orchestre) avec la grande distinction du Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. A côté de ça, je continue ma carrière de soliste, de harpiste dans l'orchestre et d'enseignant, en appréciant chaque aspect de ceux-ci. Je suis une professeur passionnée et j'ai plus de 10 ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement de la harpe, de la formation musicale et de la théorie musicale à plusieurs niveaux, à partir des enfants aux adultes. J'ai travaillé soit comme professeur privée pendant des années, soit dans l'école de musique de ma ville natale en Italie (Scuola di Musica "Luigi Rachel"). J'adore créer une atmosphère d'apprentissage positive, permettant à l'étudiant(e) de se sentir à l'aise et stimulé(e), qu'il/elle soit un(e) musicien(ne) débutant(e) ou avancé(e). Chaque étudiant(e) a sa propre méthode d'étude faite sur mesure pour progresser à son rythme et j'écoute avec attention chaque demande, afin de booster son attitude naturelle pour l'apprentissage. Je porte une attention particulière aux préférences de l'élève, en termes de répertoire et d'objectifs, en arrangeant également certaines partitions musicales qui pourraient ne pas être destinées à la harpe premièrement. Ces cours s'adressent aussi bien aux amateurs qu'aux musicien(ne)s professionnel(le)s, jeunes ou adultes. Ma langue maternelle est l'italien, mais je parle aussi couramment l'anglais et le français. J'ai hâte de vous rencontrer, Eleonora EN I am an italian harpist currently living and working in Brussels. I graduated (Master of Music in Harp - soloist and orchestra) with first class honours in Italy and at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. Meanwhile, I have been going on with my soloist, orchestral and teaching career, enjoying every aspect of it. I am an enthusiastic teacher and I have more than 10 years experience in teaching harp, solfège, music theory and harmony on many levels, from children to adults. I have been working both as a private teacher and in my hometown's school of music in Italy (Scuola di Musica "Luigi Rachel"). I love to create a positive learning environment allowing the student to feel comfortable and stimulated, whether he/she is a beginner or an advanced musician. Every student has a tailored method of study for progressing at their own pace and I will carefully listen to every request. I pay close attention to the student's preferences, in terms of repertoire and goals, also arranging some musical scores that might not be intended for the harp in the first place. These classes are either intended for amateurs or aspiring professional musicians, young or adult learners. My mother tongue is Italian, but I am also fluent in English and French. Last year, at that the time my fiancé and I took waltz lessons from Carl for our wedding dance. It was a challenge to find dance lessons in Brussels because both of us are not Belgian and we don't speak either Dutch, or French. In addition, I am really not that good with rhythm when it comes to pre-set dances. Carl was very patient with us (me) and spoke to us in English. Not only he taught us how to dance waltz but also how to behave on the dancefloor as a couple. Everybody at the wedding was amazed of our waltz skills and they loved our wedding dance.

I enjoyed my first lessons. It was both very practical since I learned a lot about the technical aspect of playing an instrument (hand positioning, body posture, etc.) and about the history of harp. The teacher also gave me advice regarding buying my own harp. She was very attentive and paid attention to my every movement, to make sure that I played it all correctly. I am looking forward to having more lessons

Huyen is a talented tutor and at very beginnings of the her lesson, she managed to establish a great connection with my son. Beside her great communication skill and high quality of her education, she is also very prepared regarding to equipments and materials. I honestly suggest every foreigner to take her french lessons.
