Trusted teacher: I'm an experienced teacher, with students of different levels/ages. I enjoy the diversity of students and understanding of their different ways of learning and goals and for me, this is the best part of the job - to know an treat each student as a unique person that they are. You'll be encouraged to make music from the very first day. Together with some necessary music theory, always applied to the instrument, you'll learn pieces of gradual difficulty. We make use of progressive tuition methods and you'll learn a solid technique by playing scales, bowing and fingering exercises and easy tunes to begin with. Repertoire includes etudes, playful and challenging concert pieces and from the very beginning duos to play with the teacher.

Trusted teacher: The teaching method of a language is supposed to change according to each student. The reason why you decided to learn italian will help me to create a suitable programme for you. In any case, practise is the most important aspect, that's why during my lesson, after an explanation of the grammatical rules, we will focus on the usage of the language itself by listening, speaking, reading and conversation exercises. After few lessons you'll be able to express yourself and every lesson will be a concrete improvement of all your language skills.
Trusted teacher: Hello! My name is Lauren, a freelance singing teacher living in London. I teach all genres and all levels, and am most concerned with meeting you where you are and reaching your vocal goals together. I have been teaching piano and voice for over ten years now, a journey which began during my undergraduate studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I went on to study vocal pedagogy closely at Indiana University, and continued to grow my studio as I moved to study at Yale, where I joined Yale College faculty to teach the undergraduate voice students. I worked with the Glee Club, A Capella groups, and members of the community from ages 6-55. Having two master’s degrees in addition to my bachelors, I am very familiar with the pursuit of higher education, and how critical the arts is to that. Alongside this, I am of the genuine belief that music and singing are of critical importance to the developing person and humanity at large. I believe music to be such a unique opportunity to not only grow skills and mastery, but to enhance a pupil's enjoyment of life, self confidence, and all aspects of their development. Seeing the aspects of music enrich other parts of a person's life is my joy and charge as an educator. I always strive to maximise on a student's language skills, and taking a unique and individual approach to the character of each student. I am a published writer (Journal of Singing April/May 2020) where I explore the necessary adjustments and awareness a teacher must be conscious of when dealing with a person who is experiencing trauma or emotional difficulties. I take this forward into my teaching, not only for reasons of empathy, but this approach has often resulted in learning with increased efficiency and a higher chance of a student reaching their potential. Looking forward to hearing from you! Lauren

I am a native Mandrine Chinese speaker and aslo a student who is currently undertaking a Masters course in university. I was schooled in China for more than eighteen years before coming to UK, therefore I have a very good understanding of Chinese culture as well as the language. I had years experience in teaching Chinese and English in my spare time when I was in China and after I moved here. I would like to help someone who already has some basic knowledge in Mandarin and would like to focus on certain aspects (i.e speaking, grammar, writing), or if they need help with understanding Chinese novels, or you just need someone to practice speaking with, I can be a good help for that. As I said above, I am a student myself so I completely understand the difficulty of learning a new language, I am flexible in the ways of teaching, just let me know your goals and I am sure we can work out how we can do this so it will benefit you the most. Please don't be hesitate to contact me if you are interested or if you want to know more about myself and how I can help with learning Mandarine Chinese. Thanks. Gabi

English Literature is an essential skill used for English gcse which I have spent a lot of detail looking in to and I - myself changed my own gcse grades drastically using a lot of time and grade specific research. I specialise very confidently in Macbeth, an Inspector calls and Christmas Carol, however research for other topics will be covered in detail before we begin sessions. I intend on supporting my students with mindmaps, pushing them to explore deeper meanings which the examiner may have not heard and also grading exam answers. I want to make this as affordable as I can as I myself was once in this position and any student is capable of drastically changing their grade. I am very passionate about this subject and want other people to see the joy in it too. We can also cover love and relations poetry or war/conflict. Sociology is another subject I’m extremely passionate about and genuinely enjoy, I intend on going through exam papers and making mind maps and analysis on key sociologist and theories. I studied family, research methods and crime at gcse and (currently) second year on sociology A level studying education, family and households and crime this year. English is my native language, I read a lot of poetry and have taught some family members English in our own ESOL style type of class so I am willing to help anybody else who may be struggling

If you have to use English in the course of your professional activity and you don't get comfortable with it ... If you are tired of being spotted immediately as French ... If you don't know still not when to use the present perfect / preterite .... I'm here to help you and make you progress. * Linguist by training and author of school textbook in this capacity. Note that I am not this young student who had a good mark in the Baccalaureate or this other who is supposedly bilingual. (the equivalent of level B2!) * Daily monitoring possible via internet. * Each course is prepared according to your needs. Feedback is always given. * Specialized in "phonology": intonation, word accent, connections ...
