Hello, my name is Arina and I am a native Russian speaker. I've been teaching Russian since 2011. Teaching my native language is not only my passion, but also a constant subject of my curiosity. I explore Russian every day with my students, we help each other understand its history, origins and cultural peculiarities. My other passion is Fine Arts and it blends together with languages very well! I like incorporating creative techniques into my teaching methodology; it makes the lessons fun and information easy to understand and memorise. I have flexible working hours but prefer a responsible learner who can arrange lessons in advance. It is preferable to meet for a lesson every week, as it helps to make a steady progress. Our main goal is to achieve strong and long-lasting results in a minimal period of time. The structure of my lesson is well balanced. I include grammar and pronunciation techniques, also tips for better and quicker memorisation. I gather information for lessons from different sources, which makes my class interactive, vibrant and effective. I use audio-visual aids and have an extensive database of audios, videos, movies and presentations to help you succeed. I've travelled to Australia, US, China, Indonesia, Europe and New Zealand and have a good understanding of different cultures. It enables me to explain the Russian culture and immerse you into our traditions. It helps to learn the language when you are familiar with the particularities of a Russian way of thinking.

If you have to use English in the course of your professional activity and you don't get comfortable with it ... If you are tired of being spotted immediately as French ... If you don't know still not when to use the present perfect / preterite .... I'm here to help you and make you progress. * Linguist by training and author of school textbook in this capacity. Note that I am not this young student who had a good mark in the Baccalaureate or this other who is supposedly bilingual. I have been teaching as a teacher in the National Education since 1995 and I can tell you that teaching cannot be improvised. It is not an activity that we do "like that". I offer you my expertise and my experience. By the way, to have 10/20 in the Baccalaureate, it is enough to have the A2 level (which is theoretically expected at the end of 3rd year) so I let you imagine the desperation of future engineers who must obtain at least 750 in the TOEIC! (the equivalent of level B2!) * Daily monitoring possible via internet. * Each course is prepared according to your needs. Feedback is always given. * Specialized in "phonology": intonation, word accent, connections ... Angélique
Angelique is very competent and professional with a direct approach, you can tell she is seasoned in her experience and her English, when required, is also very good. I am looking forward to her teaching / learning method - I know from past experience it is very hard to teach me French language - if anyone can teach me I am sure Angelique can!

Jenny
great experience! we only had couple of hours of conversation, as I wanted to take the rust off my French during a trip in Paris. she was very open, easy-going and at the same time very helpful in pointing-out prononciation, words that I didn't know, etc. I'm sure she's great for classes over a longer time period too. highly recommended.
