Passionate about chess since childhood and a teacher by profession, I offer online courses aimed primarily at beginner and intermediate players who wish to progress in a structured way while retaining the pleasure of playing. My goal is not simply to teach you moves or openings to memorize. My main aim is to help you understand why a move is good, how to construct a plan, and how to identify tactical possibilities on the chessboard. The courses are tailored to your level, age and goals. Depending on your needs, we can work: - the rules of the game and the fundamental principles; - the development of the pieces and the principles of opening; - tactics: forks, pins, skewers, discovered attacks, typical checkmates; - the strategy and the construction of a plan; - the middle of the game; - the essential finals; - the calculation of variants; - time management; - the analysis of your own games. An important part of my method involves analyzing the games you've played with you. Together, we look for key moments, mistakes, missed opportunities, and the best alternatives. For beginners, we progress gradually in order to build good habits from the very first games. For intermediate players, we can work more specifically on their weaknesses, delve deeper into certain tactical or strategic themes, and analyze their games in detail. The lessons are interactive: you play, you think, you suggest moves and we analyze the positions together. Children, teenagers and adults are welcome.

I have over 30 years of experience playing chess. I am a Latvian Candidate Master with an international FIDE rating of 2059 and an English Chess Federation rating of 2120, and an online rating of 2400, reflecting a strong competitive level. I particularly excel in blitz and rapid formats. My greatest competitive achievement is winning 1st place at the English Open Women & Girls Rapid Championship in 2019. I also have over 15 years of experience teaching chess to both juniors and adults. I have worked with students across the UK, supporting their steady progress and helping several achieve strong tournament results and qualification for higher-level competitions. I teach beginners the fundamental concepts, rules, strategies, and tactical ideas of chess, while also helping intermediate and advanced players refine their technique, deepen their opening and middlegame understanding, and develop clear, effective winning game plans.

How to prepare for a media interview? What means should be used to fight his fear of the camera and improve his image? How to present yourself and your project in front of a camera? How to present yourself and your project to the media? Targeted content according to your project: Verbal and/or gestural communication; Seduction of the lens and/or microphone; Improvisation in front of a microphone and/or camera; Voice & gaze; One or two camera games; Chronic; Animation; Reporting; Live radio & TV; Interview; Narration; Speech in all its forms (...). In short, several objectives: ◾ Confront your shyness in front of the microphone/camera. ◾ Understand his speech and diction. ◾ Tame the media environment (radio/tv). ◾ Become familiar with your image and voice. ◾ Manage your speaking time. Through exercises (diction, voice, presence, breathing, presentations, time management), role plays, simulated interviews and familiarization with their image and voice, participants evolve at their own pace within a framework flexible teaching. Please note that during the videoconference session, all the notes are transcribed gradually on the chat so that you can access them at any time when you wish.
