I am offering tutoring in History and looking for tutees from Primary school to upper school students and also looking for tutees for Spanish at any age range. As bilingual British National who grew up in Madrid in an International British School: King's College Madrid, I have been speaking, listening and writing in Spanish from an early age. experience in being able to switch between languages effectively and found it easy to engage in conversation in both Spanish and English. I have also had previous experience in teaching English to Spanish students for which I believe the skills are transferrable to teaching Spanish to English students. During the sessions, I would help with completing grammar exercises as well as work on conversational topics in order to provide a wider range of vocabulary to help with oral as well as written exams. I believe it is important to set exercises and tests during the sessions so I can figure out the main difficulties that the student has in writing in Spanish in order to tackle these problems and help the student. I am outgoing, patient and eager to help students build up their confidence in being able to confortably speak a foreign language (Spanish) as well as build on their grammar and knowlegde of Spanish culture. As well as this, I am a student studying History at The University of Kent where I obtained a 2.1 in my first year. I am currently on my year abroad in Maastricht where I am interested in tutoring here as well. The degree covers a wide range of IGCSE and A level History topics including International History between the World Wars as well as American, Russian, African and Spanish history during the 20th Century. With this, during the sessions, I would provide greater knowledge to the study of History, not only focusing on learning the facts, but mainly the significance behind them in leading to other events and the analytical process comparing and contrasting certain viewpoints in order to provide to sides of an argument. My teaching style therefore involves following exam structures and working out the key features of writing history essays, as well as setting writing exercises to prepare for exams with the short time available to write said essays. I understand the difficulties that exist for GCSE and A Level History students and I believe my experience will help to push students to understand the main points to work on when preparing for an essay or exam.

Practicing is at your level and music style of choice: Jazz - pop - blues - world music - classical ironing and others Here are some reviews of some students Bob Horváth Meanwhile, Luc has been teaching at Luc in Rotterdam for about three-quarters of a year, both on the double bass and on the bass guitar. My experience with Luc is very positive. It fits seamlessly with the level where you are a musician and offers the right challenges at that level. The lessons are always interactive and never rigid. I have been making music for years, but at a certain point I came to a level where I seemed to be running into a sort of ceiling. I did not get better. Now I am effectively working to demolish that ceiling with the help [of Luc! Very inspiring learning environment! " D. Van Lammeren "I've been playing oboe for years at a high amateur level, and started on the double bass a few years ago, with a lesson from Luc, I really want to learn it, and that's fine with Luc. I wanted classic ironing and pizzing, but also playing in a band. Luc is at home from all markets, he excels in different styles. Moreover, he understands how difficult it is when you just start, and can well transfer how you can master it. In addition, he can tell enthusiastically about the world of the double bass and the bass player, which was completely new to me. Luc always knows how to hook up with what I need in my orchestras and band, and at the same time to build step by step. So I have a lot of lessons, and it remains challenging and especially fun. "

Trusted teacher: I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doc researcher in aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft. I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, and advanced engineering mathematics), Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, etc), Physics (mechanics, electricity, light, waves, etc), CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, LS-DYNA). Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. This makes them more inspired and interested into what they are learning. If you have extra questions before starting a class, don't hesitate to ask me :)

Violin and Viola lessons in Amsterdam with Maya (Amsterdam)
Maya
Our first lesson was an exploration of the feeling of holding the viola and the bow and of playing some notes pizzicato and with the bow. Maya was enthusiastic, patient and flexible in adapting to what I could and wanted to try. Her calm approach (letting learning sink in, allowing a process of getting used to the playing and learning) made me feel very comfortable and inspired!
