Ewa - Rome$49
Trusted teacher: Ciao, my name is Ewa Anna and as you can read in my biography I have been playing the violin for more than 30 years. I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching the violin to beginners, intermediate and advanced students of any age. I offer online /webcam violin classes for kids, teenagers, and adults of any level. You can choose between modern and baroque violin. So if you would like to get a new approach and a new point of view on how to study the instrument? Then this is the right place for you! What do you need is to have an instrument, a music stand, a good internet connection and one of the following programs to communicate online: SKYPE, ZOOM, MESSENGER, WHATSUP. Of course, I speak English but also Polish, German and Italian. In the future, you can think of joining my summer academy classes in Italy in Rome or close to Rome and this might also be a good opportunity for an interesting educational vacation in the country of history, art, and music. If you are a beginner, I will provide you with the info on how and where to buy the violin (all online) and if you have your own then it’s even better! I provide you with the scores and necessary materials for the study process! Twice a year I organize workshops in Rome (Italy) to meet you in person and study directly! You are most welcome to participate in these workshops. If there are more students in one country I can travel to your place and teach for a weekend workshop (few times a year) for the group of students at the same location. Once a year we organize a summer school in warm and beautiful Italy (Rome and surroundings) to study with you: violin solo program, chamber music, and Ear Training. The summer school finishes with the concert of all the students and teachers. Your questions are more than welcome. So feel free to write me with any info you might need. Ewa

I prioritize fostering enthusiasm and motivation as primary tools for conveying technical and theoretical concepts, alongside a deep love for music. Lessons are open to students of all ages and skill levels. 🚀 The focus of the course revolves around the joy of playing music. Your favorite genres and pieces will take center stage, with a thorough exploration of their codes and secrets. Trusted teacher: With over 8 years of experience as a Solfege, Oriental Solfege, Oud, and Oriental singing teacher, I am a Lebanese musician currently residing in Mönchengladbach, Germany. I honed my skills for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. Prior to my relocation, I taught at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also held private music lessons. As a concertmaster, I performed with the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for over 5 years. My move to Germany was motivated by my pursuit of graduate studies at the University of Kamp-Lintfort. Fluent in English, Couramment en français, ولغتي الأم هي اللغة العربية. Aber leider spreche Ich ein bisschen Deutsch. Solfege, the foundation of music theory, is an essential tool for any musician who wishes to understand and create music. It provides a way to identify and communicate notes, intervals, and rhythms, and it is the key to developing musical literacy. In this class, you will delve into the world of scales, exploring the unique characteristics of Western and Oriental scales. We will study the following scales: Rast, Bayet, Siga, Kord, Hijaz, Ajam, Nahawand- Major & Minor Scales. In addition to these Western and Oriental scales, we will also introduce you to the quarter note, which is not traditionally found in Western music. It is a quarter note with a unique and distinct sound. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician, this class will provide you with the knowledge you need to use scales effectively for improvisation, singing, and playing any instrument. With this knowledge, you will be able to: * Read and write music (dictation) in solfège notation for both Western and Oriental scales. * Identify and communicate notes accurately in the context of various musical traditions. * Develop a deeper understanding of music theory and rhythmic concepts. * Infuse your musical performances with a broader range of expressive possibilities. We will use the book "المقامات الشرقية by Georges Farah" as the main reference for our study of Oriental solfège. This book is considered the best book in the Middle East to teach Oriental Solfège. Discover the power of solfège to enhance your musical skills and open up a world of new possibilities!

Dear Student! Every great musician have two instruments: One of them is their ears. If You're a creative musician who's ready to expand your hearing to the next level, You're at the best place. Working as a professional musician, my ears saved me countless times. It will also help You to fit into any group because You'll be able to hear what the others are playing while You do Your part. We will work on - Indentifying Intervals, Scales, Triads, Seventh Chords, and inversions of these - Singing (Not to make You the next Bruno Mars, but to develop inner hearing) - Transcribing melodies - Transcribing Chord Progressions This class is ideal for preparing entrance exams for Music school, Conservatory or University.

GUITAR LESSON for ALL LEVELS ✨ taught by a seasoned CONSERVATOIRE PROFESSOR! 🎶 (Estella-Lizarra)
Mirko
My review is based on two 60 minute online lessons but also on communication outside of the lessons. Mirko comes across as a genuinely nice guy. When messaged, he responds quickly. Last night I had a small question regarding a piece from our lesson, that I wished would be answered prior to our next meeting and he answered in a very timely fashion and to full satisfaction. If you're someone who wants to build a solid foundation, then I think that you don't need to look any further. Like a concrete slab floor that needs hardening prior to further construction, he doesn't rush through material but makes sure that you're ready before the next stage. As I was not a total beginner, Mirko would start at the lowest or near the lowest entry point after I showed him a range of the things that I was familiar with. So a good starting point for me was a simple I-M rest stroke alternation exercice on the first string and he gradually increased the difficulty. He also introduced me to a short piece that I haven't heard before and right now I can play 40% of it and the plan is to play it fully by the next lesson which is a very realistic goal. When it comes to conveying techniques it would be too early to make a comment because as I already had acquired a reasonably good technique, we didn't focus much on it (yet). I will conclude by saying that if you're someone who doesn't like structure and only wants a taste of everything that a guitar has to offer but not really fully digest anything that is presented in front of you, then skip this teacher. I ,for one, am happy that I found Mirko.

Piano lessons - music theory and harmony - for any level (Budapest)
Giorgia
I started my lessons with Giorgia four months ago, and I am so glad to have found her. As a 26-year-old beginner, I was not sure if I should even try to pursue learning an instrument at this point. But now I am so glad I did! I am learning online, and I was a little unsure of how lessons via webcam would go. Despite my prejudice, everything turned out great, even though my setup is quite basic. Her approach to teaching is very creative. She is able to explain things that seem hard to put into words, and she always finds comparisons and descriptions that convey clearly little details of approach that make a lot of difference in the end result. For any difficulty I encountered, she presented methods of exercise that helped correct it. Another thing that I appreciate is that from one lesson to the next, the volume of work is challenging enough that I feel I am making progress, but not to the point that I am overwhelmed. Also, even though I am just beginning and the pieces are not that complex, she explains the musical interpretation in a way that not only helps me advance my skill but also enriches the way I understand and listen to music, and I find great value in that. Her manner of teaching is very organic, and she is a patient teacher with a warm presence. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons!

Baroque Violin Lessons Online via Skype, Zoom and Messenger. (Santa Marinella)
Ewa
Ewa is an excellent violin teacher, I would highly recommend her to anyone who may wish to learn the violin. I have studied a number of musical instruments, first at High School, and then as an extra-mural during University with a variety of teachers. I decided to take up violin as an adult. Ewa is, by far, one of the best music teachers I have worked with. She is patient, and has been excellent in explaining the importance of fundamentals. While I may be an absolute beginner it is easy to see how the fundamentals being taught will assist when more complex repertoire is attempted. She is also phenomenal at identifying which aspects of playing need focus an attention. It is evident that Ewa is a consummate professional and her wealth of experience is an asset to anyone trying to learn this notoriously complex instrument. I can also say that there is no issue in working by way of an online learning platform.
