Trusted teacher: After 5 years of teaching piano lessons / music theory in Geneva and at the request of many parents for their youngest children, I decided to open a class specializing in rhythm / music theory, allowing an introduction to music through movement, listening, discovering percussion instruments or learning notes using the xylophone. In these courses we will learn: Children 3-5 years old: Lv. 1 - Dancing in the rhythm 💃 - Tap on percussion instruments - Sing in tune (name of notes) - Music listening 🎵 - Know the basic typologies of musical notes - Discover certain percussion instruments as well as the xylophone composed of the C major scale. - Understand the difference between high/low - The expression of music by drawing ✍️ colored notes - etc. Children 6-9 years old: Lv. 2 - Play music - Write the music - Recognize the sounds of orchestral instruments - Symphony orchestra / instruments - Note recognition by ear - Beat the measure in rhythm 2/3/4 beats - Tap simple rhythms just right - Know the names of each typology of musical notes 🎶 - Know the various symbols of musical writing and their function - Interactive educational games related to classical music Children from 10 years old: Lev. 3 - Tap or beat time while saying complex rhythms just right - Sight reading of sheet music 🎶 - Knowledge of costings and composition according to costing - Knowledge of varieties of intervals & chords - Knowledge of all ranges - History of music (famous composers) - Practice of classical improvisation - Simple songwriting (composition) - Interactive educational games related to classical music - etc My teaching techniques are the fusion between the Conservatory of Music and the Jacques-Dalcroze Institute, brought up to date with new innovative ways of learning while having fun! For the moment, the lessons for the first requests will be at home, but in the long term we will bring the children together in a classroom in the center of Geneva. While remaining at your disposal, please accept my sincere greetings. Louana

Trusted teacher: Hello! If you would like to learn how to play cello or to develop your solfege, piano and theory knowledge, I truly believe that my class is the best place for you! In my classes, you would have the possibility to discover more about the instrument and its history. We will learn all the technics that are used when we play. Together with the beginners, we will make the first steps in music theory, solfege and piano. Those important steps are a part of the study of an instrument, they allow the musician to have the complete freedom to perform and to create his music. As a person that has been playing the cello since the age of 7, I know all the difficult steps that are accompanying this adventure. Because of that, my goal is to support and to motivate my students, to be their friend but also an example of how hard they have to work to achieve their dreams. Let me tell you a bit more about myself (more detailed information you could find in my profile). My name is Vyara and I am 26 years old from Bulgaria. In June 2021 I have finished my first Master in music performance in Haute école de musique de Genève and at the moment I am doing my second Master in Pedagogy in the same institution with Denis Severin. I have graduated the National music school in Varna, Bulgaria and later the National academy of music in Sofia, Bulgaria. All those years of study gave me lots of experience not only as a violoncellist but as well as a person. During my studies I have had all types of music classes such as harmony, music history, music theory, pedagogy, chamber music, violoncello, piano and many more. Following my preparation from young age, I am proud to be a prize-winner of many international competitions. I have performed not only as a soloist but also as a member of a classical piano trio, with which we have been on many stages around the world. At the moment, I am dedicated to teaching. I work as a private violoncello teacher since 3 years. I can honestly say that work with other cellists gives me pleasure and makes me feel fulfilled. Following the graduation of my first Master, I was invited by my professor Denis Severin to become his assistant. I have traveled with him around Europe on a group of master classes, where I had the opportunity to work with a class of 15 students. I truly believe that with my professional experience I would be the best choice for you to learn more about the music world! Feel free to write me if you are interested! All my best, Vyara

Accordion Lessons For All Levels And Musical Styles (Zurich)
Noel
Noel was awesome. He is a very talented young musician, his ways of explaining musical notes and how they aply to the Accordeon was coherent and easy to follow. I had no idea about Accordeons at all and I never played a musical instrument before. Noel was able within 5 hrs to give me a very basic but helpful insight into how to play the left and then the right hand. He also explained me the basic of reading and writting notes. I am very thankful for his help to learn the very basic of playing the Accordeon, and I would recommend him for anybody interested to learn to play the Accordeon. He is capable to teach any level and any age groups, from kids to seniors.

Artur
He is very motivated. You will feel that he really likes music/ piano. It was my first lesson and the whole hour was really teaching me and he doesnt mind about the time much, which is positive. It was my first lesson with him, also booked for another 5 sessions and I'll comment later about my progress... is He good? I would say yes, I learned something and I applied what I learned and was able to do it. A Teacher is good if the student was able to apply what he/she teaches.. so he is good.:)
