Trusted teacher: Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice. Here is an overview of my previous tutoring experience: 2021/2022: I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught french, dutch, and english to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus. 2021: Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as math and french. 2017/2020: I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught french, mathematics, and english. During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework. I have been learning with Anne for almost 8 months now. I cannot even begin to thank Anne for her amazing teaching skills and how much she has helped me. I have struggled with French for years and I finally found a teacher who both pushed me but is also patient and accommodating to my needs. I was also hesitant at first to have an online teacher, but her teaching methods and skills actually made it easier that she was online, also in terms of managing my time and schedule with her, I did not feel that anything hindered my progress having her online. Her great personality and experience as a teacher overall further helped with my fear and difficulty in learning French, and having her as an online teacher. And finally, she has a great teaching structure and a curriculum and material (which was important for me) to provide for the student through structured classes, while taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of the student. Kevin is a genius, who is capable of breaking down complex concepts into manageable, useful bits. If you think of a really large basket of vegetables and fruits. You know all the nutrients are good for you, but it would be tedious to try to eat it all raw. But then, you get a juicer or blender or 'Nutribullet', and juice all those vegetables and fruits into a refreshing smoothie. You can then drink that smoothie as quickly or slowly as you wish, and still get all the necessary nutrients... That's what Kevin can do - he juices all the complex intricacies of the German language into something you can understand and digest. His methods are unconventional, but very helpful in laying a proper foundation for a successful language learning journey. Very highly recommended.

Bonjour to the one's who are seeking for a French Language teacher on Apprentus, Likewise you, I have also gone through the process of finding a (good) teacher, and I also did read about two days long the reviews given to the teachers.
