Trusted teacher: Economics classes for University level students will be based on student's needs (some suggestions: Econometrics, Microeconomics, Quantitative Economics). For school students, it can involve advanced learning or basic Economic knowledge (aligned to student's needs). English classes will involve writing and speaking practice (based on the student's existing knowledge). I tend to explain things pretty well. I always try to assign homework for further practice. Times can be discussed with me and I do accommodate students based on mutual availability.

Trusted teacher: My way of teaching is based on the idea that by practicing a lot, and finding answers more and more on your own, you build self-confidence. If you believe you can do it, a profession might even become fun. Usually we start with an explanation of the material, and together we look at which part you already understand and which part you don't yet. Then we will practice very hard with sums. In the beginning I usually do a number of sums, then we try to make sure that you can do them yourself as much as possible. I also help you better understand the way school questions are asked. I'm not afraid to go "back to basics" and work with you on backlogs in your base. Many disadvantages are caused by long-term poor education, especially in subjects such as mathematics. For example, it is assumed that you understand fractions very well, while no one has ever explained them well to you! I often meet students, even students entering their final exams, who still have problems with this. With great pleasure I have been a homework tutor for science subjects at a homework institute in Amsterdam for seven years now. During that time I have worked with a wide variety of students, such as students with ADD or Asperger's, but also students who have motivation problems or problems with self-confidence. I am currently following the master's degree in Economics at the university. After obtaining my gymnasium diploma with N&T profile, I have always remained interested in science subjects, especially in physics. I like making and listening music, watching movies and animals. NB: scheduling lessons is done in consultation: I do not use the Apprentus calendar!
