I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment based on patience, curiosity, and motivation. About me: My name is Uma and I am originally from Spain. I have been living in The Hague for the past five years. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Flute in Madrid and a Master’s degree in Zürich, I recently finished a Bachelor’s degree in Early Music and historical flutes at the Koninklijk Conservatorium The Hague. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Education, which allows me to continuously refine my teaching approach. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience and enjoy encouraging curiosity while adapting lessons to each student’s interests and needs. All ages and levels are welcome, and I strive to make learning music both structured and fun. The flute it’s a quite complex instrument, where the challenge is to find the balance between all the parameter, such as posture(in order to learn how to play fast passage), lips and everything concerning breathing technique(in order to get the best clear and powerful sound). It’ my job to guide the student in order to let him/her find that stability in order to get best results possible.

Hi, my name is Galit and I am a professional recorder player. I have been performing in various ensembles and venues around Europe and Israel, playing baroque, medieval, renaissance and contemporary music which is the vast repertoire of the recorder. I graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. I have been teaching in various platforms for over 20 years and I adapt the lessons to your needs, wishes and level. During our lessons I will teach you the skill set of mastering the recorder. Obtaining good technique, working on good posture and healthy breathing along side learning about the instrument and it's history. Learning to play the recorder is an opportunity to expend your horizons, be creative and learn the art of listening. Hello, My name is Eva, and I am a flutist and flute and recorder teacher from Slovakia, currently based in Brussels. I offer one-on-one private lessons for adults and kids from the age of 6. I studied flute performance and pedagogy at The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Slovakia), The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (Denmark), and I participated in numerous masterclasses with flutists such as Sharon Bezaly, András Adorján, Ulla Miilmann, etc. I am trained in all styles of classical music, but I am particularly interested in contemporary music. My teaching specialty is using extended flute techniques to help my students discover their best sound more easily and have more fun while learning to play. I am offering lessons in playing the traverse modern flute as well as historical flutes and music theory at any level, from the beginner to the professional. This course, based on more than 10 years of experience in teaching, offers private lessons where everyone can find their unique contact with their instrument, deepen their relationship with music and develop a unique way of expressing themselves through music making. I teach from international method books and adjust my methods to the individual needs of each student. Taking two courses of the Alexander technique also helped me to develop an understanding of the essential connection between the body and our minds. This awareness can be very helpful not only for our musical performances, but also for our everyday lives.
