With more than ten years of teaching experience – from eight-year-old children to teenagers and students, up to 88-year-olds – I have had the honor of accompanying many people on their musical journey and helping them develop and cultivate a skill that can enrich their lives in the long term. Whether you're just starting out with the flute, have been playing for several years, are studying at a music academy and would like additional support and motivation, or want to return to your instrument after a long break – I would be delighted to accompany you on your journey. Together we can set goals, create a clear path, and work towards them with joy, curiosity, and mutual trust. In a world that's constantly accelerating and full of information and distractions, I want to create a safe space with our flute lessons where you can find peace, reconnect with yourself, and become more consciously connected to your breath. At the same time, you'll improve your concentration, stimulate your mind, and develop skills that can benefit you in other areas of your life. :) In my lessons, I also want to introduce you to the beauty of art and show you how music is connected to other art forms. Together, we can explore the musical languages of different eras and cultures – from the Baroque and Romantic periods through folk music to the present day. My aim is to awaken and nurture a longing for beauty, for its perception, creation, and cultivation – with the desire to refine your senses and enrich your life. :)

Santiago tailors each flute lesson to the student's level and goals, from beginner to advanced musician. He combines a solid technique acquired through his training at the Teatro Colón and the Geneva University of Music with a progressive approach. A typical lesson begins with a warm-up and technical work (breath control, embouchure, fingering, tone), primarily at the beginner level, followed by the study of a repertoire chosen together, and then exercises in musicality and interpretation. The goal is always to help the student progress while fostering the joy of playing. Santiago teaches children, teenagers, and adults alike, whether they are preparing for an exam, wish to join an ensemble, or simply discover the flute. His strengths include a keen attention to sound, practical orchestral experience, and the ability to explain things clearly.
