Online Piano Assessment and Summer Piano Reset Plan

Online Piano Assessment and Summer Piano Reset Plan

Fully online piano assessment and focused follow-up lessons in English for serious students who want a clear professional view of their current level, their main technical-musical bottleneck and the next practical steps. This is not a casual lesson. It is a structured professional assessment for students who practise regularly but do not fully understand why their playing still does not sound free, stable, expressive or convincing. I am a Russian-trained concert pianist and piano educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience, international performance background, recordings, masterclasses and academic-level teaching experience. I teach piano as an integrated system: sound, movement, rhythm, phrasing, memory, musical understanding and intelligent practice. During the assessment, I look at the student’s playing as a complete musical and technical system: — sound and tone quality — body coordination and technical freedom — rhythm, pulse and inner stability — phrasing and musical direction — articulation and dynamics — reading and understanding the score — voice balance, harmony, form and musical logic — memory and reliability — practice method and self-checking skills After the session, the student receives a written summary with the main observations, the central bottleneck and a concrete practice plan for the next stage of work. Possible formats: 1. Piano Assessment / Piano Reset 60 minutes online + written summary with a concrete practice plan 2. Piano Assessment + 4 focused follow-up lessons After the assessment, we can continue with 4 online lessons focused on improving the main bottleneck: reading, rhythm, sound, movement, phrasing, memory or practice strategy. Format: assessment session + 4 focused online lessons This format can be especially useful during the summer break, before the new school year, before an exam, recording or performance, after a long break from piano, or when the student feels that regular practice is not bringing the expected progress. The goal is not simply to add more pieces or more practice time. The goal is to understand what exactly is blocking progress and to build a clearer, more effective way of working. Please write to me with a short description of the student’s age, level, current repertoire and what feels most difficult at the moment.

Music theory + piano lessons for beginners and advanced students - all age levels

Music theory + piano lessons for beginners and advanced students - all age levels

Have you always wanted not just to play notes, but to truly understand music? Music is not mechanical training. It is thinking, feeling, structuring, imagining, and being free at the same time. I am a musicologist, composer, pianist, organist, and harpsichordist with two academic degrees (Composition & Musicology), more than 10 years of teaching experience, and an active international concert career across Europe. My students study at prestigious music academies, perform on European stages, and develop artistic identity and confidence. I combine academic precision with creative freedom and a supportive atmosphere. Each student receives an individual learning plan. I adapt my method depending on age, level, and goals — whether it is: - first musical steps at 4–6 years old - hobby lessons for adults - serious professional preparation - exam or competition preparation Thanks to my background in musicology, composition, and even neuroaesthetics research, I help students: - understand how music works - develop musical thinking - improve memory and artistic expression - build a technical foundation without tension - gain confidence in performance Send me a message — and we will create your personal musical path. Music is not only about playing. It is about discovering yourself through sound.

“ Hi My son had attended few weeks ( one / two sessions per week) keyboard classes with Pooja. I am revising my ratings after these sessions. I am so happy with the progress my son has made in keyboard in such a short notice. Pooja's dedicated approach & Notes/ homework after every class really helps the students. I would recommend her classes. Thanks Sajith ”

“ We were extremely pleased with my 8 year old son's first lesson. Ann immediately came across as both highly experienced and genuinely kind, which helped him feel comfortable and engaged from the start. We especially appreciated how thoughtfully she assessed his level to ensure the right training approach. We’re very much looking forward to continuing our lessons. ”

“ Alan is a great teacher and super nice guy. He pay extra attention to your problems with piano and try to fix them using smart and innovative methods. I like the fact that he sometimes doesn't stick to the 60 mins and ask to extend it if he feels something is missing or incomplete. I already had 7 lessons with him and looking for more. Highly recommended. ”
