I'm a violin teacher and I'm expert teaching groups. I have a lot of experience teaching beginners but I'm also able to guide more advanced students so they can reach their full potential playing the violin. My first goal is to motivate the student and to have fun playing the instrument. I also apply singing and score reading. To more advanced students I apply my knowledge of Kato Havas' Approach so they learn to relax while playing.

Trusted teacher: I'm an experienced teacher, with students of different levels/ages. I enjoy the diversity of students and understanding of their different ways of learning and goals and for me, this is the best part of the job - to know an treat each student as a unique person that they are. You'll be encouraged to make music from the very first day. Together with some necessary music theory, always applied to the instrument, you'll learn pieces of gradual difficulty. We make use of progressive tuition methods and you'll learn a solid technique by playing scales, bowing and fingering exercises and easy tunes to begin with. Repertoire includes etudes, playful and challenging concert pieces and from the very beginning duos to play with the teacher.
The Suzuki Method was created by the Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki. It is internationally used to teach music to children from age 3. It is based on the idea that if any child can speak his mother tongue perfectly he can also develop his musical talent when he has a supportive environment. Therefore the pupil's parents are actively involved in the learning process attending the lessons and helping their child in daily home practice. Under Suzuki's Philosophy, learning how to play an instrument is much more than acquiring music knowledge. It is about learning values and long life skills that will help children to develop their full potential. Therefore, parents, pupils and teachers enjoy together this fascinating trip from the first stages. The teacher - Eduard. I'm a freelance violinist based in Amsterdam playing in different orchestras and chamber music groups. It is my passion to share with my students and parents the joy of making music and learning and instrument. For me playing an instrument it is much more than just that: it is a way to develop ourselves as a person. It is my intention to create a Violin class with a high standard in a great musical environment. The commitment for daily practice is the only requirement to become my student. I perform often for children like in Teatro Munganga and Amsterdam Baby Concerts. I studied violin in the Conservatories of Barcelona and Utrecht and the Suzuki Method at the Accademia Filarmonica in Utrecht. I am currently following a Postgraduate about the Suzuki Method in the Conservatory of Antwerpen and researching how the principles of thw Alexander Technique can be applied to a violin lesson from the early beggining. I'm also specialized in body and mind work for musicians(as Alexander technique teacher).I'm a member of the Suzuki Vereniging Nederland.

I am an experienced violin/viola teacher recently arrived in the Netherlands from Australia. I have a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the University of Melbourne and am currently completing a Bachelor of Early Music at the Royal Conservatoire at the Hague. I have been teaching for more than 10 years, and since 2013 was running a strings program at a steiner school in Tropical North Australia, as well as running a busy teaching studio and conducting community orchestras in the area. I love teaching and consider it one of my main passions. I enjoy working with students of all ages, and have taught several adult students of varying abilities, as well as children as young as four. I aim for my lessons to be enjoyable, inspirational, systematic, and holistic (covering many different musical aspects and skills in one lesson). I am a friendly and patient teacher who believes in all my students and helps them be the best they can be.
