Trusted teacher: Hi! My name is Vivianne. I have been living in Amsterdam for two years now and I do love this city! I'm originally Dutch and I have lived in several countries (different places in The Netherlands, Hong Kong, Peru). That feeling of entering a new city is amazing; all those new people, places and beautiful spots but it can also make you a bit insecure about your decisions. Did you choose the right studies or job? You moved for love but what's next? What about new friends? You're not alone, many people around you experience the same. Next to my own experiences, I work as Dutch teacher (Dutch as a second language) and therefore know how 'newcomers' experience their new life. I want to help people feeling happier and content with their decisions. I have a background in (international) marketing, languages and intercultural communication and due to this combination I have a depth intercultural understanding. So, if you want to talk about... - Your life in The Netherlands (e.g. studies, job) - Your decisions (e.g. feelings, emotions regarding any subject) - Your future plans (e.g. staying in The Netherlands, moving) And want to feel... - More confident in your studies / job - Happier in your personal and social life - More integrated in the Dutch culture Without feeling a patient in need of an expensive psychologist/psychiatrist, feel free to contact me. We can have a short intake so you can tell me something about yourself and make a plan for further meetings. If you're interested in Dutch lessons as well we could, of course, customize the sessions.

Trusted teacher: Do you communicate with clients and colleagues in English? Interested in integrating your professional experience to reach new markets and analyze opportunities? Ready to share insights and practical applications from business, financial & market analysis, research & development, branding, entrepreneurship, education, non-profits & NGOs, immigration, activism, entertainment, singing, sustainability, and adapt it to your field?! I'm a TEFL-certified native English teacher and entrepreneur with years of experience in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. I can offer you resources, support and professional tutoring with documentation for any education level or in any professional role. My approach begins with goal-setting by focusing on cognizant learning techniques and language performance to create a sustainable environment, where your independence and self-actualization may flourish. I've adapted and researched lessons on everything from consciousness to corporate finance; keeping in mind that language should be innovative and personal. Since I'm also busy taking lessons with my vocal coach and learning Dutch, I'm always adapting new insights and techniques to share with my students. I will immediately share any appropriate resources and interactive content(audio, visual, literary) to give you a competitive advantage and context beyond our lessons for your own self-study as well. Please contact me for more detailed course descriptions and keep in mind that I also offer services in proofreading, writing, and research on any subject.

I am very happy and excited about Michael's classes. He is very friendly and explains very well what my failures are. It also gives very good advice to improve my English.
