Trusted teacher: I would like to teach you to learn to play the piano. Music is an indispensable thing in life, in my opinion. The lessons will be in person at my home on location (online is possible in consultation) and the teaching method will be adapted to knowledge, technique and age. I can teach you technique as well as the fundamentals of music theory. Of course it's a lot more fun if you can also just play your favorite pieces! I believe that development of technique is better practiced by learning and applying it in actual pieces of music instead of exercise books of, for example, Alfred's piano method. Some info about me: I have been interested in classical music since my early teens. It's an incredibly important part of my life. My private teachers were main study teacher of piano and organ Jelena Bazova from the Tilburg Conservatory, Canadian concert pianist Steven Massicotte and Helmond city organist Jan van de Laar. I don't consider myself a soloist, as I had only been at the conservatory for a fairly short time, before going back to ICT and financing my concert grand piano. Some examples of my (favorite) repertoire (both complete and works in progress): * Bach WTK 1, Prelude 1 in C * Bach WTK 1, Prelude 4 in C#m * Bach WTK 1, Fugue 4 in C#m * Bach WTK 1, Prelude 24 in Bm * Bach WTK 1, Fugue 24 in Bm * Bach Harpsichord Concerto BWV 1052 in Dm * Chopin Ballades, no. 23.1 in Gm * Chopin Ballades, no. 47.3 in Ab * Chopin Scherzi, no. 39.3 in C#m * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 9.1 in Bbm * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 9.3 in B major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 15.1 in F major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 15.2 in F#m * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 32.1 in B major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 48.2 in F#m * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 62.1 in B major * Chopin Nocturnes, no. 72.1 posth. in Em * Fauré Nocturnes, no. 33.1 in Ebm * Poulenc, opera “Dialogues des Carmélites” accompaniment

Trusted teacher: COURSE FOR VOCALISTS / SINGER SONGWRITERS "You don't need to be able to play the piano well to learn to accompany songs in a beautiful way in a short time" Do you want that? For example, because you want to learn to guide yourself better as a vocalist and/or singer-songwriter or other vocalists in your teaching practice? That's possible with me. I have developed a method that allows you to learn this quickly. My method provides general insight very quickly and at the same time is focused on you as an individual from the start. Skills/conditions required for this course: - be able to read music notes - basic knowledge of chords on the piano - in possession of an (electric) piano - time for daily tutorial It concerns a course of 5 lessons, in principle during 5 consecutive weeks. The first two lessons may be split so that I can help you on your way every few days. Depending on your (style) taste and level, we determine together which songs we will tackle. What you learn in 5 weeks you can apply to other songs after the course. Of course you can also contact me for individual (piano) lessons, songwriting and theory. Trusted teacher: [English below] Educational, personal and motivational lessons for anyone who wants to play the piano. My lessons are adapted to you: to your current skills, interests and wishes. I combine this with exercises and playing techniques for a strong foundation. Passion and technique has been the formula for me when playing the piano, and in my lessons I think it's important that we play what you like, from challenging classics to well-known film scores. In the first lessons we learn to read scores, we discover exercises on the piano that support your technique in the long term, and we especially play a lot. I was born in Russia, raised in Belgium and recently moved to Rotterdam. I have been playing the piano myself for 16 years, have studied Music Pedagogy and Classical Piano at the Lemmens Institute Conservatory in Leuven and have enjoyed teaching for almost 10 years now. Feel free to contact me for questions or references. Looking forward to our first lesson! Pedagogical, personal and motivating lessons for anyone who wants to play the piano. We had a very positive experience with Eglè. We have only had one lesson with her but my son really enjoyed it, she made him feel very comfortable and he came away with a few things to practice after 45mins. Egle arrived to our house right on time and was very enthusiastic about piano.

Adriaan is very pleasant and knowledgeable, he’s also very flexible in his teaching style, really listens to your learning goals. I also like the flexible hours, and is nice that he can facilitate piano lessons at home.
