With me, you'll play real music from your very first lesson, not endless drills. I hold a doctorate in composition and music theory and a master's in piano performance, so I don't just show you what to play, I explain why it works. You'll feel the difference: once you understand what you're doing, you practise faster and play with more conviction. My lessons usually start with technique, then we get into your repertoire, classical, pop, jazz, or film music, whatever you're drawn to. If you're taking voice lessons, I'll accompany you live at the piano. I teach everyone: from your very first note to conservatory level, from kids to adults picking it up for the first time. I taught at university level for years and now judge international music competitions so I also know exactly how to prepare you for Music exams and auditions because I know what the jury is listening for. I teach in English, having trained and performed across three continents for over 30 years and I bring all of that into every lesson. Lets start working !

Classical Singing, Musical Theatre & Piano Lessons with Emily 🎶 Vocal Coach | Multilingual Educator | ABRSM & Trinity Exam Specialist Hi! I’m Emily, a classically trained singer from Hong Kong, currently in my fourth year of the Bachelor’s programme in Voice at the Utrecht Conservatorium. With 8 years of vocal training and a strong love for performing, I’m passionate about helping others experience the joy of music. I’ve been teaching for over 4 years, working with students from age 4 to adults, both individually and in small group settings. I also teach music classes for children at an international school, and I specialize in creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons that build both skill and confidence. In addition to classical singing, I also teach Musical Theatre — combining healthy vocal technique with expressive performance — and piano at beginner to intermediate levels. I hold an ATCL Diploma in Singing from Trinity College London and ABRSM Piano Grade 8, and I’ve helped students succeed in ABRSM and Trinity exams, often with Merit or Distinction. 🎵 Lessons are in person and take place at the student’s home — ideal for those who prefer a familiar and comfortable learning environment. Lessons are always tailored to the student’s goals, whether for leisure, performance, or exams. I teach in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. 📩 Interested in learning music in a fun, flexible, and encouraging way? Feel free to reach out — I’d love to hear from you!

Piano Lessons in Bebek, Istanbul – Children & Adults With 15 years of teaching experience, I offer individual piano lessons for children from age 3, as well as teenagers and adults, at Poco Piano, a boutique music studio located in Bebek, Istanbul. Lessons are individually planned according to each student's age, level, learning pace and musical goals. My approach combines classical piano training with music theory, sight-reading, ear training and musicianship, creating a strong musical foundation rather than focusing only on learning individual pieces. For young beginners (ages 3–6), lessons are adapted to the child's attention span and developmental stage. The first goal is to build a positive relationship with the instrument and teacher while gradually introducing rhythm, pitch, keyboard orientation and basic musical concepts. For school-age students, teenagers and adults, lessons may include classical repertoire, technique, sight-reading, music theory and preparation for internationally recognised music examinations.
