Trusted teacher: Xirui has about 10 years of experience teaching piano/voice and music theory lessons. She is very good at working with different levels of students, from beginners to advanced students. She is bilingual and she just earned her Doctoral Degree major in Music at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She graduated from the California State University Northridge with a degree of Master of Music with the major of vocal performance. Xirui earned her bachelor's degree with the major of Music Education at the Shanghai Normal University. She has performed in various opera productions including Dialogues des Carmélites, Don Giovanni, No guarantee, Hansel and Gretel, L’incoronazione di Poppea and Cosi fan Tutte. She has also performed in the chorus in various productions as Mass in B minor, Messiah, Petite Messe solennelle, and many of these. She was also in Master Classes with Dr. Rachel Joselson, Angela Meade, and the famous conductor, Gregory Buchalter. She was a Graduate Assistant at the UNLV vocal department. Her duties are teaching private voice lessons to undergrad students, teaching non-major vocal pedagogy, and organizing vocal department affairs. She is experienced with taking care of students' voices and she studied a series of courses about "release your voice", which aims at rediscovering ones' voices and curing vocal disorders. Apart from her teaching and performance career, she also has rich experience in running summer music camps and music festivals for elementary, middle, and high school students. She also works as a coordinator, chorus director, voice faculty, and as a music theory teacher.

She has developed an extensive musical sense, knowledge and stylish skills from various famous musicians throughout her studies in Australia, included Ms, Lucinda Collins (the head of classical piano) from the Elder Conservatorium Of Music; Mr. Darryl Coote and Mr. Len Vorster. Man Ting enjoys playing music and working with others. She has participated in different ensembles and venues; in 2016, performed for the “Australiana” in the Melbourne Recital Centre and the Monash Piano Series Concert and in the same year got invited to perform for Duneira Concert and Monash University Open Day; in 2017, performed for the “Chopin and Liszt” and “Sounds Without End” which held in Collins St Baptist Church of Melbourne. During her college life, Man Ting has participated in the Monash Wind Symphony for 2 years as percussion and piano accompaniment; has been continuously awarded for the “Bernis Music Classical Piano Award” in 2016 and 2017. Man Ting is an experienced teacher for all ages students and familiar to help student with AMEB and ABRSM grade exam. Also, as an interpreter of the ABRSM, this position allows her to help and train the exam setting with student more efficiently. Through her international career life, her experience allows her to communicate and be flexible with different students and parents from different countries and cultures. After 4-5 months of learning piano with Maria, I owe her big gratitude. I decided to learn piano as an adult and Maria helped me to overcome my insecurities in music and motivated me to keep trying and practicing. She truly cares about the whole learning experience and uses amazing methods to guide me not only in improving my playing skills, but also my musicality. The piano classes with Maria are always inspiring and challenging, but not overwhelming. In each class, she corrects the techniques and accommodates exercises for practice accordingly.
