Hello! I am a 200HR certified Vinyasa yoga teacher studying for a Psychology degree in Paris! Yoga has brought me through a multitude of challenges in my own life including depression and the general every-day stresses that living in a big city can bring. I completed my 200-hour yoga certification with a specialization in Vinyasa (don't worry if you don't know what that means!) at Radiantly Alive in the magical city of Ubud, Bali, this summer. What I have learned there I am eager to bring from my heart straight to your yoga practice!
-What I can offer you:
-Constructing an individualized self-practice (for everyone from the total beginner to the exceptionally seasoned yogi) to catered to the personal goals you have (whether that be physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual) in practicing yoga.
-Regular 30 minute-1 hour (or more upon request) Vinyasa flow classes
-Injury prevention through safe alignment and listening to the bodies limits
-Breathe work and short meditations before and after the practice
-A more in-depth progression of standard poses for the advanced practitioner, to safely reach and surrender to your limits
-FUN! A way to get in touch with your body and breathe!!

-People who know me would label me as an empath--that being said I have a large capacity to put myself in other people's shoes and really assess their needs with compassion and a non-judgmental approach.
-I have many passions including playing the harp, piano, scat-singing, and writing non-fiction short stories, and I strive to bring a creative touch to all that I do.
-I am a current university student at the American University of Paris, working towards a degree in psychology with a minor in creative writing (to keep myself sane!) so that I can eventually help people for a profession.
-I have lived in five different countries and have had the privilege to connect with beautiful souls across the globe!
-I am a believer in mindfulness, moderation, open-mindedness, healthy boundary-setting, and helping people to discover the full potential inside themselves to live their fullest, most authentic lives.

Restorative yoga is the most relaxing yoga. It is a gentle, introspective yoga that cultivates inner calm.
Unlike most other yogas, there is no muscle strengthening.
We simply remain in still postures in order to relax the mind, breathe and relax deeply.

Yin Yoga is a slow yoga. The practice of this focuses on connective tissues such as ligaments, bones, joints and even cartilage. It requires little or no muscular engagement. Yin yoga consists of long stretches, combinations of slow and deep breathing as well as postures that must be held for several minutes.

Hatha Yoga combines postures much more quickly than Yin and Restorative yoga and it works on strengthening as well as muscular elasticity.
It also helps to balance the two hemispheres of the brain as well as to harmonize the body and mind.

The benefits of Yoga:

- Strengthen the health of joints and
bone.
- Strengthen the cardiovascular system.
- Improve overall body flexibility.
- Promote better body posture.
- Reduce pain.
- Tone the muscles.
- Help with digestion (twisting postures).
- Reduce stress and anxiety.
- Achieve maximum relaxation by cultivating
abandonment and letting go.
- Help fight depression.

I offer one-hour sessions.
