Learning to play the piano is a wonderful and very diverse experience! Every beginner has to go through it in their own special way in order to realize their personal aspirations. But sometimes, unfortunately, due to a lack of guidance and direction, the learning process may cause some difficulties followed by unexpected disappointment. If you are in need of said guidance, if your learning experience is not that captivating or satisfying anymore, you don't have to turn away from your dreams of playing the piano - I will gladly help you to get closer to them in a fun and enjoyable way in our lessons! After finishing music school with the highest grades twice as well as a number of additional courses (improvisation, composition, orchestras, etc.), and after honing my teaching skills for more than 4 years, I can safely say that my lessons may prove useful to any type of student with any kind of given objective at hand. No matter your age, your previous experience, or background, you just need to name me your personal goal, task, or even a dream - be ready to dedicate a little time and effort, and I will take care of all the rest. Learning your favorite song, getting prepared for a concert, or simply improving the skills you already possess - in music, everything is possible and achievable, and I'll be more than glad to prove it to you in our lessons.

Online Classes of Piano, Keyboards and Musical LanguageTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Online Classes of Piano, Keyboards and Musical LanguageTranslate this text using Google Translate.

The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.

My teaching experience includes Yamaha Music School and Jamm Studios Qatar, alongside professional performance and creative collaborations with composer Dana Al Fardan. Each lesson is shaped around your goals, interests and pace of learning. Depending on your needs, we can work on: • Comfortable technique, coordination and expressive playing • Music reading, rhythm and ear training • Chords, harmony and accompaniment • Improvisation and playing by ear • Classical, jazz, pop and other repertoire you enjoy My approach combines clear, structured guidance with practical music-making. You’ll learn how to practise effectively, understand what you play and develop your own musical voice. Children receive engaging, age-appropriate guidance; adults can build a focused path around their personal musical goals. Lessons take place at students’ homes in Doha or online and are offered as a monthly pack of four 60-minute lessons. Fast progress piano lessons and competitions' preparation / RSL Awards Classical Piano certificationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Welcome to my online Piano Class. I am Maria Papadatou, and I will happily help you achieve your musical goals, from zero to the top. I love all student levels, but only towards the classical piano, of any eras' works and composers. Don't be afraid, my lesson is human-friendly 😊 Everything goes step by step! Outside the lesson time, I send you short videos when needed, to support your practice through the week. As each student is different, I focus on each ones' needs and I am always creative in helping you learn through the simplest ways - "if it's easy, it's correct", that's my motto! My greatest happiness is to watch my students grow, overcome any limit and expand in full potential! As a result, many of my students have won top prizes at major international competitions, as the IBLA Grand Prize, the Spoleto International Piano Competition, the Bach au Jazz (Lilia Boyadjieva) International Piano Competition and many others. And also, at renown online competitions, as The Royal, the IYMC, the Forte Academy, and many-many others. As a Certified teacher on the official RSL Awards Teacher Registry (MusicTeacher.com), I can now offer the RSL Classical Piano programme - a well-established international piano qualification, equivalent in level to ABRSM but with more flexibility. So, in case you need a competition or exam preparation, here you are at the right place! I will help you discover the advanced piano technique, and the ways to achieve your best musical interpretation. Also, I'll help you understand and approach each composers' unique style, and secure your concert / stage presence, with simple and effective solutions for memorisation and control. I am a very proud piano teacher too, as, except all other distinctions, on Jan 11 2026 four young students of mine were awarded and invited to performed at the winners Gala at the Carnegie Hall in New York City! They also participated to the Juilliard School festival, with masterclass and lessons, a fabulous chance and experience that I wish all young pianists could have! I wish I can always bring such great opportunities and successes to all of my "piano kids"! And some exciting news! 🎉 My musical fairytale "Maya's Waltz" is from now on available as an audiobook too! Private course of Piano/Composition/Computer Music with AppMuseTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Private course of Piano/Composition/Computer Music with AppMuseTranslate this text using Google Translate.

< Learning Piano is not merely about playing the piano > Before starting to learn the piano, it’s essential to recognize that : '' What we are actually learning is "Music", but not only "Piano". '' The goal of learning any instrument is to acquire the language of music, enabling us to express ourselves and enjoy music with others. Playing the piano is for creating beautiful sounds, not really for developing finger speed or strength. That’s the function of gym. < Music is like cooking > When we cook, to make roast beef tender, of course, it’s nice to have a tender heart, but without knowing how to control the temperature, the roast beef won’t become tender merely by our tender heart. By only adding salt, the dish won’t be sweet. Similarly, simply playing or writing a C major triad chord won’t convey a sorrowful feeling. To create the feeling we want, no matter how much sentiment we have in our hearts, to convey it via music, it needs to be translated into the language which the piano can understand, which means, how we press and lift the keys and pedals. Similarly, when we compose, it needs to be transferred into chords, and notes we write. < Difference between an audience and a musician > There is a common belief that a musician can make music with sentiment or feeling. While it’s partially true, the most essential thing is knowing ‘’How’’ to create the sound that conveys the feeling we want, rather than merely knowing ‘’What’' feeling we want to convey. The understanding of the mechanism behind music is essential, as cooking, and that is the difference between an audience and a musician. As an audience, one can simply feel the music. Like a chief who knows how to create a specific flavor to convey, a musician knows how to create the sound which can convey the feeling we want. While knowing which feeling we want is great, it’s merely the first step. Your emotions are not too different from Chopin, Beethoven, Adele or Taylor Swift, otherwise, they can’t resonate with you. But they know how to create the sound that conveys the feeling they want to their audience. < Course Content > I consider my course to be a form of "Music Consultation" because it contains a wide range of subjects that are essential to a professional musician. While we focus on piano playing, there are also music theory, music history, instrument construction, ergonomics for performers, analysis of composer styles, composition, arrangement, recording, MIDI, computer music, the physics of sound, and more. In avoid of confusion, let’s still call my course as "Piano Course”. < Duration > For each course, I will reserve at least 70 minutes in my schedule for you, including 60 minutes of class time and an additional 10 minutes for discussion and any questions you may have. This will ensure that your courses are not rushed by the next student. This ensures that there is enough time for you to solve your piano and music problems. < Recording > I highly encourage my students to record their progress. This can provide an objective standard for comparison and help you analyze your playing precisely. In my nine years of experience teaching music, I've found many students, including those advanced, already play certain sections very well, while other sections may not be not well enough. But they still try to improving those fine sections, while not aware of those weak sections. Without an objective reference, it’s hard to distribute our effort precisely. This can lead to not only unstable performance, but also practicing without a precise goal can easily reduce enthusiasm. Recording your results and comparing them with those recordings you like on YouTube or Spotify can be an effective way to analyze your playing and set precise goals. If you have a digital piano, I can help you produce a video of your performance for each session. This can be a tangible record of your efforts and you can share it with your friends and family via YouTube or other platforms.

Bring Out Your Musicality: Conservatorium van Amsterdam Master's Pianist, 5+ Years Teaching All Ages and LevelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Bring Out Your Musicality: Conservatorium van Amsterdam Master's Pianist, 5+ Years Teaching All Ages and LevelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Every student's musical journey is different, and your lessons should be too. With more than 5 years of experience teaching piano to students of all levels (from complete beginners to advancing conservatory-track students and retired adults rediscovering music) lessons are built around your goals, pace and interests. Whether you're picking up the piano for the first time, preparing for conservatory entrance exams, or returning to the instrument after years away, each student finds a plan tailored to where they are and where they want to go. The first lesson is about getting to know each other: understanding your current level, your goals, and what excites you musically, so a clear and realistic plan can be built from day one. From there, practice is kept structured and achievable; with concrete, doable goals between lessons, as well as different tools and materials provided along the way. Lessons can take place at my home or, if preferred, at your own address. As a teacher, I try to stay flexible to what my students want to explore: I find pupils are often passionate about all kinds of genres, and while my own training is classical, I'm just as happy helping a student work on jazz standards and improvisation if that's what excites them, alongside more traditional repertoire. “ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Piano Teacher! We’ve been so lucky to find Loreine on Apprentus! She teaches via Zoom, but the experience feels just as personal and engaging as in-person lessons. Her teaching style is incredibly thoughtful — each lesson is well-structured and tailored to the student’s pace and personality. She explains everything clearly, with patience and professionalism, and always brings a calm, positive energy to every session. What stands out most is how nurturing and encouraging she is. My child feels supported and motivated, and her enthusiasm — never overwhelming — is truly contagious. She builds each lesson on the student's progress, reinforcing skills in a way that sets them up for success. Since starting lessons, my child has not only improved musically, but has also begun practicing regularly without being reminded — something I never expected! She genuinely looks forward to each lesson, which says everything. I highly recommend Loreine to anyone looking for a kind, professional, and effective piano teacher! ”

“ After 4-5 months of learning piano with Maria, I owe her big gratitude. I decided to learn piano as an adult and Maria helped me to overcome my insecurities in music and motivated me to keep trying and practicing. She truly cares about the whole learning experience and uses amazing methods to guide me not only in improving my playing skills, but also my musicality. The piano classes with Maria are always inspiring and challenging, but not overwhelming. In each class, she corrects the techniques and accommodates exercises for practice accordingly. I am really satisfied with her dedication and feedback. I cannot recommend Maria highly enough. In her teaching, she uses the right dose of professionalism, friendliness, patience, and understanding. Her enthusiasm for the music is so contagious. Her lovely and passionate nature and energetic vibes simply make the class an enjoyable learning experience. I cannot wait for the next piano class with Maria. :) ”
