Mathematics Tutoring for IB MYP & DP and Beyond – Build Confidence at Any LevelTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematics Tutoring for IB MYP & DP and Beyond – Build Confidence at Any LevelTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I’m Anahit, and I’m here to support you on your math journey with a professional yet approachable teaching style. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I’ve guided students of very different levels — from a 4th grade student, to an IBDP Year 2 student, and even a master’s student in Data Science. This flexibility has strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching methods to the needs of each learner, whether the focus is on building strong fundamentals or tackling advanced concepts. Mathematics has been a consistent part of my life — from excelling in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme with Math at Higher Level, to now pursuing a master’s degree in Data Science and Financial Technology. Studying and applying advanced mathematics on a daily basis allows me not only to keep my knowledge sharp but also to bring real academic and practical depth into my tutoring. When working with students, I focus on making complex ideas clear and accessible. I strive to create a welcoming environment where trust builds naturally and students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring challenges, and even enjoying the process of learning math. Many students struggle with math not because they lack ability, but because they haven’t been given the right approach. My role is to provide that approach — helping them grow in both confidence and skill. If you’re looking for a tutor who combines academic expertise with patience, adaptability, and a supportive atmosphere, I’d be glad to work with you.

Engineering Mathematics (Vector Calculus, Laplace Transforms, Differential Equations, Complex Integration)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Engineering Mathematics (Vector Calculus, Laplace Transforms, Differential Equations, Complex Integration)Translate this text using Google Translate.

I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology). Key topics that I teach for this course include: • Calculus: Differentiation & integration, Multivariable calculus • Linear Algebra: Matrices, vectors, systems of equations, Eigenvalues and eigenvectors • Differential Equations: First- and second-order ODEs, Laplace transforms • Complex Numbers: Polar form, Euler’s formula • Vector Calculus: Gradient, divergence, curl, Line and surface integrals • Series & Transforms: Taylor series, Fourier series I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter. If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)

University Calculus Tutoring: Calculus 1, 2, and 3Translate this text using Google Translate.

University Calculus Tutoring: Calculus 1, 2, and 3Translate this text using Google Translate.

Having coached 100+ students from more than 10 universities worldwide, I have developed a strong understanding of the homework expectations, assessment methods, and exam styles commonly used in university-level mathematics courses. One of the biggest challenges students face in university calculus is the transition from high school mathematics. Differences in curriculum, notation, problem-solving approaches, and calculator usage can create significant knowledge gaps that make it difficult to keep up with the course material. I help students identify and close these gaps by strengthening the underlying mathematical foundations and developing the skills required for success in higher education. Whether you are struggling with prerequisites, falling behind in lectures, or aiming for top grades, lessons are tailored to your specific needs and course requirements. I provide comprehensive support in Calculus I, II, and III, including: - Limits and continuity - Differentiation and applications of derivatives - Integration techniques and applications - Sequences and series - Multivariable calculus - Partial derivatives and multiple integrals - Vector calculus and related topics I can help you understand assignments and prepare for exams, build the confidence and understanding needed to excel throughout your university studies.

Inspiring and enthusiastic math and physics tutor with 8 years of experience.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students in 8 different countries. I have successful students from these past nine years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. My teaching methodology is based on two main things: skill development and adaptation. Initially, I create a skeleton of the most suitable methodology tailored to the preferred curriculum, after which, I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. Second, I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. Frequently Asked Questions: Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach math, mechanics, statistics, chemistry and physics. I also teach biology up to GCSE level. When are you available? My timetable is quite flexible. “ My daughter had private tutoring for the Physics CCVX exam with Bibek, and we are extremely pleased with the experience. Bibek is a very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding tutor who truly focuses on the individual needs of the student. He adapts his teaching methods according to the student’s level and learning style, which helped my daughter gain confidence and improve her understanding of difficult concepts. Bibek was highly motivating and supportive throughout the process, encouraging her to stay focused and positive even under pressure. My daughter had a very tight deadline to pass the exam, and Bibek handled this challenge with excellent organisation and clear planning. He structured the lessons efficiently, prioritised key topics, and ensured that time was used effectively. Thanks to his guidance and dedication, my daughter was able to achieve her goal within a limited timeframe. Bibek demonstrates all the important qualities of a great tutor: strong subject knowledge, adaptability, clear communication, motivation, organisation, and genuine commitment to the student’s success. I would highly recommend him to any student looking for high-quality physics tutoring. ”

“ Baia was instrumental in helping my daughter prepare for the OMPT-F exam. From the very first lesson, she was organized, knowledgeable, and focused on the areas that mattered most for success on the test. What sets Baia apart is her ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, structured way while building confidence at the same time. Her engineering background gives her a deep understanding of mathematics and allows her to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts work. She provided targeted practice materials, mock exams, and clear guidance on the key topics that carried the highest impact. Baia was always responsive to questions between lessons and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was fully prepared. Thanks to her support, my daughter developed a much stronger understanding of mathematics and a more positive attitude toward the subject. She now approaches challenging problems with far more confidence than before. I highly recommend Baia to anyone preparing for the OMPT exams, university mathematics, or looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and highly effective math tutor. ”

“ Evie really enjoyed having a maths lesson with Anahit. Anahit was very communicative through the whole process and arranging. Anahit was able to identify why Evie was struggled and areas to focus on. Evie felt comfortable with Anahit which allowed Evie to be more receptive. It was a really simple process and I’m pleased that I arranged this for Evie. I also received information on what they had learned during the lesson. Thank you. ”
