Maths Teacher | Senior Year & Maths Specialization | Baccalaureate Exam Preparation | 15 Years of ExperienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Is your child in their final year of high school and understands the lessons, but struggles to solve the exercises on their own? He knows the formulas, but doesn't know how to use them in an exercise? Does he get stuck on problems or multi-step exercises? His grades remain low despite his efforts? Is he lacking in method, speed, or confidence? Or perhaps the Baccalaureate exam is approaching and he doesn't know how to organize his revision effectively? I can help him transform these difficulties into methods and skills. I am a mathematics teacher with 15 years of teaching experience and hold a Master's degree in mathematics. I primarily support high school students, especially in their penultimate and final years, following both the Moroccan and French curricula. 🎯 My goal: to understand why the student is stuck In mathematics, a bad grade does not always mean that the lesson is not understood. The student may have: • gaps stemming from previous years; • difficulties in understanding certain concepts; • methodological problems; • difficulties in analyzing a statement; • difficulty choosing the right problem-solving strategy; • errors in calculation or reasoning; • difficulties in writing a solution correctly; • a lack of training or confidence. My role is to identify these difficulties and to work progressively on the points that are really preventing the student from progressing. 📚 Preparation and support in the final year of high school Specifically, we can work on: • the functions; • limits and continuity; • Derivation and variations; • exponential and logarithmic functions; • the sequels; • antiderivatives and integrals; • probabilities and random variables; • geometry; • differential equations according to the program; • synthesis exercises and problems; • Methodology and writing. The content is of course adapted to the program followed by the student. 📝 Baccalaureate Preparation For a student preparing for the Baccalaureate, we can implement a structured approach based on: Understand → Practice → Correct mistakes → Try again → Gain independence We work with progressive exercises, exam topics and problems adapted to the student's actual level. The goal is not to mechanically memorize methods, but to be able to recognize a situation, choose a strategy and correctly construct a solution. For my final year students who were tutored in mathematics, I achieved a 100% success rate in the Baccalaureate, with 75% obtaining a distinction of "Bien" or "Très Bien". 💻 Interactive online courses The sessions take place remotely using Google Meet and an interactive whiteboard. The student actively participates during the session: he searches, reasons, writes and corrects his mistakes with my guidance. After the session, I can also provide screenshots of the work done so that the student can review the important points. 👨‍🎓 This support is particularly suited to students who: • want to improve their results; • have accumulated deficiencies; • understand the lesson but get stuck on the exercises; • need a more efficient working method; • are preparing for a test or exam; • wish to prepare seriously for the Baccalaureate; • want to gain autonomy and confidence. Each student has different difficulties. Therefore, I begin by identifying their needs before designing the work to be done. 📩 Are you preparing for a test or the Baccalaureate? In your message, simply tell me: • the student's level; • the program followed; • the chapters that pose a problem; • the desired objective. This will allow me to quickly understand the situation and propose a suitable approach. My goal: to help the student understand mathematics, master problem-solving methods, and approach exams with greater confidence.

Mental arithmetic champion teaches children the abacusTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mental arithmetic champion teaches children the abacusTranslate this text using Google Translate.

1st place nationally in Lebanon in 2012 and 2015, then 3rd place worldwide in India in 2016, I now offer mental calculation courses on abacus for children. The abacus is an ancient calculating tool, used long before calculators. I learned this method as a child through the UCMAS program, and it has been incredibly beneficial. Beyond mental arithmetic, it allowed me to stand out from other students and feel particularly comfortable in elementary, middle, and high school, especially in subjects that require concentration, logic, and a good memory, whether in mathematics, science, history, or other subjects where it's necessary to retain information and structure one's thoughts. What I love about this method is that it doesn't just develop calculation speed. It also helps strengthen concentration, memory, visualization, logic, self-confidence, and comfort with numbers. For many children, it's a real foundation that helps them far beyond the sessions, in how they learn, think, and approach school with more confidence. Each child has their own way of understanding. My role is to adapt to them, to patiently pass on this method, and to make learning stimulating, progressive, and accessible. Since this method requires regularity to give real results, I prefer support over several sessions, with progression and training between lessons. Location / format: Arpajon, Paris and surrounding areas, or video conferencing.

Mathematics and Economics for Middle and High School StudentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematics and Economics for Middle and High School StudentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I have been teaching mathematics and economics for almost 5 years, which are a real passion of mine. Very invested in my teaching activity, I am happy to offer my students quality knowledge in order to best guide them through the winding paths that lead upwards, towards success. The approach I propose aims to reconcile my student with mathematics or economics and give him (again) a taste for these subjects. However, this approach goes much further: allowing my students to develop a critical mind as well as increasing their ability to argue and write. Working on the presentation of written texts, care, spelling and syntax constitutes work on form which will contribute to the student's progress in maths, economics and also in all other disciplines. Secondly, learning to construct an argument and become intellectually clear constitutes in-depth work. My vision of teaching goes in these two concurrent directions. And the fun in all this? I am convinced that students have a rather biased view of mathematics: "All you have to do is apply the formulas," I often hear. The same goes for economics: "All you have to do is learn it by heart." Big mistake: formulas or definitions are the submerged surface of the course, and knowing the formulas or definitions is useless if you don't understand them. A course goes far beyond a few formulas: There is a whole context, hypotheses to take into account. The pleasure comes from the ability to feel the concepts and manage to make them one's own. Learn to play with numbers, examples and, in a very general way, with the concepts encountered. The first step will be to familiarize the student with a completely new way of understanding these concepts and to teach them how to REASON. On the one hand, this is the only way to enjoy learning, but it is also the only way to really progress (contrary to what bad teachers will have you believe and who will try to sell you a dream by erasing the "effort of reasoning" from the equation. The magic eraser only exists in the land of YES YES). In no case do I want to create learned monkeys. In this sense, this approach is NOT designed for everyone: - I expect respectful and pleasant people. You don't order a math "teacher" the same way you order a pizza. My time is precious, and if I select you, I would expect respect and kindness from you. - I expect work from you: Private lessons only make sense if you continue at home what you have done with me. - Finally, I expect you to be ready to... Learn (Organization, discipline and methodology will be the key words of our adventure) To people who have the sincere desire (and the courage) to undertake this process of change. To them I send my most sincere wishes for success. Your coach. Helder
