I performed thousands of intimate gigs and the vast majority of those have been solo performances. I've performed in-front of audiences of 50,000 and audiences of just 1. I won't get too technical and I won't start scoring music. In fact my music theory is basic, and I wouldn't claim to teach it. But what I'll show you is the soul of the song. Where the rhythm lives, how the groove feels and how to interpret that in terms of guitar. I'll listen to where you're at and be able to direct you better. Playing the guitar is closely linked to 'performance' and that's especially true if you want to entertain others. Thats my strength. To make the guitar shine, to become one with the instrument suits an extension of your body. To 'play' music and feel the joy in doing that, so that it makes you feel good and anybody listening too! Trusted teacher: Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo. Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory. I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs. Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score. Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom. I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training. Currently students from 4 to 76 years old are taking my lessons. Not just a singing teacher, but by the way also the best vocal coach you can get hold of at this moment and in this area of the Netherlands (so take your chance...;-)). For about 3 years I had a serious problem with my vocal chords (incomplete closure) and a dislocated larynx. I started to be in contact with Stefano by chance asking him to show me some (singing) exercises additionally to my treatment at the ENT-department of Martini Ziekenhuis Groningen as well as an ongoing therapy at a professional trained speech therapist. To cut a long story short: Within a couple of lessons and dedicated exercises he succeeded in re-positioning my larynx and got rid of my incomplete vocal cords closure, meanwhile the medical specialists had decided that the only cure could possibly be an operation... As a ‘side-effect’ I am now able to sing and control my voice like I have never been able before and could never have imagined that this was possible to achieve by just some simple but individually chosen exercises and practice. First, she is an excellent musician. Second she is a patient, and an understanding teacher, who by nature is going to try to do her best to help you out. You feel confident with her and you know you are not going to be humiliated and belittled. She is there to support you. After two years of learning music with Pr Yantong Lin, I can hardly imagine how much she "enriched my life". She made me discover the beauty and subtlety of the music.She made me think musically and not just play notes, and made me discover the "intellectual fondation and beauty of music" that is harmony. We booked and experienced a trial lesson at few days ago. She is an experienced teacher with excellent teaching experience. She is willing to communicate and is willing to teach with different level of children. She explores the children's talents and also wiling to set learning goals with the children’s & parents. She uses her own teach way to arouse children's interest into music. My daughter likes Sana very much.
