My guitar classes are shaped around you—your musical taste, your goals, and the way you learn best.

Whether you’re into rock, metal, pop, blues, or anything in between, we’ll use the music you love as the foundation of your progress. I blend technique with practical music theory so everything makes sense on the fretboard.
Along the way, we’ll explore triads and tetrads, pentatonic scales and modes, chord and arpeggio shapes, harmonic fields, the circle of fifths, and core techniques like tapping, sweep, alternate, and economy picking—always in a clear, musical, and approachable way.

I’ve been a guitarist since 1998 and studied Popular Guitar at FAAM and Music Pedagogy at UFSCAR in Brazil. In 2025, I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of West London.
Alongside teaching, I’ve always been active as a composer, recording artist, and performing guitarist in numerous bands. Since 2016, I’ve owned and composed for Arken, a heavy metal band with three albums released.

The main outcome of my classes is to help you truly own the instrument—playing comfortably, confidently, and improvise musically. From there, you’ll be able to learn and play any songs you want, and even create your own music if that’s your goal.
Beginners and advanced players are equally welcome. No matter your style or experience, I’m confident I can guide you toward the skills you need to play with confidence and enjoyment.

As a guitar teacher, I begin by understanding each student’s level and musical taste. This combination allows me to design a clear and effective strategy to develop both technical skills and musicianship.

My first guitar teacher gave me the most important lesson of all: to love the instrument—to enjoy practicing and playing. I believe this is above every other aspect of learning, because it helps students experience their progress with pleasure and fulfillment rather than struggle.
That is my ultimate goal: to make students enjoy the learning process and, at the right moment, feel confident to continue their own journey through music.

Hello !

I graduated from the conservatory in classical double bass (DEM), studying in the Higher Pole. I am also an associate professor of music.

My name is Charles and I am a music teacher, living and working in Luxembourg. Prior to moving here, I was living in the UK where I studied for a 2 year qualification in Music Practice before going on to study Music Composition at university, with a specialization in Education. My name is Jason and I've been playing guitar for over ten years. I studied music at University in the UK and went on to complete a Masters in Music Composition. After finishing my studies, I turned my attention to live performance. Over the past few years I have been working primarily as a session musician and guitar tutor in and around the London area, UK. As well as teaching guitar I have performed in jazz ensembles, accompanied vocalists, hosted jam sessions and recorded with various artists whilst also occasionally working in musical theatre and improvisation projects. I now reside in Luxembourg where I teach guitar.

Although I specialise in jazz and Brazilian guitar, I teach a wide range of styles including pop, rock, blues and classical. Whether you're just starting out with guitar or you're a more experienced player, I can help guide you in the right direction with your practice. As well as teaching guitar, I offer tuition in musical theory and improvisation, as well as music composition.

Métholologie :

J'adore le solfège et c'est pourquoi je voudrais transmettre ma passion aux enfants (à partir de 7 ans), ayant des difficultés d'apprentissage par le biais d'explications, entraînements, astuces exercices et jeux (cours théoriques-lecture de notes-rythmique-devoirs).
Je propose des cours personnalisés d'1h-1h30-2h (1ère-2ème-3ème-4ème-5ème année) adaptés aux besoins de chaque élève en abordant un thème et en le travaillant.
Si vous souhaitez travailler un sujet en particulier, il vous suffit de m'en aviser afin que je puisse préparer le cours et avoir les documents nécessaires.
❗️Je peux également fournir une aide légère pour la lecture et le chant.
⚠️ Je ne travaille pas les dictée!
J'espère rendre cela agréable et motivant sans pour autant manquer de sérieux.

Parcours :

Depuis 2016 maintenant, je dispense mon aide à mes petits élèves, en langue française, uniquement.

Mes cours s’adressent aux enfants (à partir de 7 ans) et aux adultes débutants ou reprenant la musique. J’adapte ma méthode à chaque élève, selon son âge, ses objectifs et son rythme d’apprentissage. Mon approche combine lecture de notes, rythme, écoute, chant, jeux ludiques et compréhension des notions musicales.
Chaque séance suit une structure progressive : échauffement rythmique ou vocal, lecture et écoute, travail sur les notions en cours, puis mise en pratique.
Je mets l’accent sur une pédagogie bienveillante, structurée et motivante, dans une ambiance sérieuse mais détendue. Mon objectif est de transmettre le plaisir d’apprendre la musique, tout en posant de bonnes bases. Les cours peuvent préparer au programme de formation musicale jusqu’au niveau FM4.

I am a professional musician offering private lessons in drum set, percussion, and music theory. I have a bachelors degree in Music from Colorado University. I have experience playing in musical productions, jazz combos and big bands, fusion bands, hip hop, and metal. I have had the honor of teaching students from ages 6 to adult. I enjoy helping beginners find their joy in drumming and equally excel at helping master drummers polish their skills. Also offered- music theory lessons from solfege to jazz arranging.
