Having learned the piano since the age of 5, I cultivated a strong sense of interest and passion in music, obtaining my ABRSM Grade 8 Piano practical certificate before finishing my secondary education. I also hold an ABRSM Grade 8 Music Theory. To improve myself as a performer and to acquire in-depth knowledge about music and piano playing, I have gone on to obtain my ABRSM Diploma (DipABRSM) in piano performance as well as LCM Diploma (DipLCM) in piano performance. I am also currently pursuing for my LRSM Diploma under ABRSM to further hone my skills in piano playing. Aside from solo piano playing, I enjoy performing with other musicians such as playing piano accompaniment for choirs and instrumentalists. I also perform regularly as a choral singer in concert halls. Violin and Viola lessons 🎻 with a professional teacher for all ages and levels (Amsterdam)

I studied the violin for about 2 months with Fermin and I have grown much in my knowledge of not just how to play but how to think when playing. Fermin has also helped a lot with technical struggles allowing me to break through some of the challenges that were bothering me for a long time. He is a very patient teacher but he will not hesitate to stop you and correct you (as any good teacher would) if you are not playing correctly. I personally requested that he gives me honest feedback which really helped me play better tecnically and musically. I believe he will be open to adapting his strictness upon specific requests. The time difference (Fermin being in Spain and I being in the US) has not been easy but Fermin was very willing to bend his schedule and provided several time slots to accommodate my availability. To sum up, if you are looking for a teacher that is patient in character yet unrelenting toward the goal of fully tapping your potential both musically and tecnically, I would recommend you take a lesson with Fermin.

In my head (only there just there) I already know a lot of Korean words. But when I try to talk I can't make 1 sentence out of it. That's why I wanted private lesson. What I really like about Severine is that she is very patient, she keeps up with my pace. Once I understand the material I'd like to move on, Palli Palli! She is a good explainer and because of that I'm feeling more and more confidence to talk (and write) in Korean. I already can Write my name in the sand, but soon I will be able to... Talk to myself for hours.. ..Say things that You WILL understand ;)

We have only just started with Kevin, but we find him very pleasant to work with, and our daughter was comfortable with him right away. He can teach in either English or Chinese, which is a benefit for our family. We can feel that he is a real musician, and wants to share the love of music, not just the technical mastery, with his students. This is something we really appreciate. Good feeling so far, and our daughter is looking forward to learning from Kevin!
