Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60. My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding. No matter if you are interested in learning to play your favourite tunes just for fun or want to build up strong, solid technique and play demanding repertoire, I would be happy to work with you.The world of music is incredibly rich and I would love to help you on the exciting journey of discovering it. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English. I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere. My students often describe me as patient, positive, and well-organised. All of these skills are essential for conversation. I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels. The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons. I am following a class with Başak to learn turkish. The lessons are held in english. This course covers pronunciation, grammar and free speaking which are also adapted to daily life situations as well as speaking about yourself. I have experienced a very well organized and structured teacher on a professional basis. The teacher gives clear instructions, pays attention to the pronunciation and corrects you when needed, which is crucial for the turkish pronunciation. The course fees contain the tuition as booked and course material as the class is accompanied by a book (workbook and exercise book) and audio files. The books are sent to you in advance, makes it very convenient to take a print out or as a digital version on your tablet/PC/phone. Between the lessons homework will be assigned and checked by her via mail and discussed in the next lesson. So far, I am very happy with the lessons and I am also confident that I will improve my turkish steadily in the future with her. Thanks

My husband and I are probably considered advanced beginner Spanish speakers. We booked a week of lessons with Camilo in Medellin Colombia while we were spending time there and it was a very good experience. Camilo is not just someone who speaks the language; He is educated as a teacher and it shows. For me he did just the right amount of leading/teaching, listening, and correcting. His English is also very good, which was helpful the few times it made more sense to ask/answer in English. He is also a very nice and pleasant person to be with. I highly recommend him as a teacher and imagine that he would be just as good a teacher with true beginners as well as advanced speakers.

Robin is an exceptional native speaker teacher, very profesional and dedicated. My daugthers and wife attend his online classes regularly. He is a very educated person who cares about the student's learning. He prepares his classes conscientiously and precisely, adapted to the needs of the students. They focus mainly in improving their conversation skills. Robin is also very flexible as he has frequently adapted his lessons to fit into our other family activites. We really appreciate. We are very happy and fully recommend Robin as English teacher!!
