Trusted teacher: PROFESSIONAL GUITARIST, COMPOSER, MUSIC AND GUITAR TEACHER Beginner-Advanced Level Experience: I am a professional musician and have been teaching students of all ages for over 20 years. My experience as a teacher and my pursuit of self-improvement as a musician have led me to develop an effective method that I have already tested with over a hundred students. Throughout my career I had the satisfaction of studying with great masters of different specialties or styles, each one emphasizing different aspects of flamenco, classical or modern guitar and each one has given me their approach (technique, rhythms, accompaniment, harmony, etc.), which has led me after years of study and compilation to take the best from each one to develop my method. My role in my classes is more that of a personal trainer than a teacher, where I will be very attentive to bringing out the best in my students, finding the right technique to help them develop a good rhythm, working on their rhythm, etc. For me, the role of a teacher, in addition to teaching, is to be part of a team, to maintain morale and constantly improve oneself while always maintaining a love for music. Methodology: I tailor the lessons to the student's level, style, or goals. Generally, the first half of the lesson is dedicated to technique, focusing on proper placement, execution, and relaxation, which will result in a good sound. Over time, I've realized that it's also a way to connect with the guitar, concentrate, and warm up. So, little by little, we'll develop our routine, which will begin by working on basic rhythmic aspects. The second half is dedicated to playing, trying to put into practice what we learned about the technique with the sticks or studying other concerns of the student, which may be a theme, harmony, falsetas, improvisation, or even other styles, etc., always obviously taking into account the search or interest of the student. FLAMENCO - Flamenco technique - Palos (Tangos, Bulerías, Alegrías, Soleá, Taranta...) - Accompaniment to singing and dancing - Clapping and rhythms MODERN GUITAR - Harmony - Improvisation - Repertoire (rumbas, pop, jazz, rock, etc.) CLASSIC - Reading, solfège and interpretation. - Works - I work with progressive learning books

Most jazz piano teachers offer you a weekly video call and wish you luck until next week. I offer something different. Over the past six years, I've built a structured teaching system for adults who are serious about learning jazz piano properly — whether you're a working professional who's always loved jazz and finally has time to learn, or a classically trained musician ready to break free from the page and start improvising. What makes my approach different: Every student gets access to an interactive practice platform with exercises you can work through between lessons — tension identification, voicing construction, ear training, and more. These aren't PDFs or YouTube links, they're purpose-built tools that track your progress and adapt to your level. On top of that, I design personalised weekly practice routines for each student. You'll always know exactly what to practise, how long to spend on it, and what "ready to move on" sounds like. No guessing, no wasted practice time. My methodology is ear-first. We build strong harmonic foundations through shell voicings before moving to complex concepts. You learn to hear the music before you theorise about it. This is how jazz was always meant to be learned — by listening, not just reading. Who I work with best: — Professionals in other fields who love music and want to learn jazz piano for the pure enjoyment of it. You have limited time but real ambition. I respect that and structure everything to make your practice hours count. — Classically trained pianists who want to understand jazz harmony, stop depending on sheet music, and develop the confidence to improvise. I know this transition well and I have a clear path for it. What a typical month looks like: Weekly lessons via video call (frequency and duration would be according to students needs), tailored to your current goals and level. Between lessons, you have your practice routine and full access to the exercise platform. I track your activity and adjust the plan based on what I see. It's not a course you follow passively — it's an ongoing, personalised programme.

I had previously played some classical for a few years, but was looking to learn jazz piano and improvisation as well. For this David is ideal, as he studied both as a classical and jazz musician, and has a deep understanding of each. About half the lessons we focus on jazz improvisation. During the lessons I improvise over a few songs, and each session he gives feedback, while adding a new layer of difficulty. We've also worked a lot on rhythm, which has really helped me bridge the gap between classical and jazz. We spent a few lessons on classical pieces as well, to refine technique and musicality. My playing feels much more fluid and musical already, and he's really helpful/knowledgeable with the details. Also, on the weeks where I did have not had much time to practice, we do a more (jazz) theory oriented lesson, which has also helped alot with my improvisation. Overall, I only have positive things to say about the lessons! David is a very easy-going teacher, and from the first lesson I felt very comfortable asking him questions. He's very versatile as well, and easily adapts the lesson according to what suits us best that week.

Yuv

Yuvraj is a wonderful teacher! I've been studying piano for half a year with him, and the progress never stops. He teaches everything that you need to be a pianist, including the technique, classical theory, jazz theory, as well as how to find good new songs. Within the few months that I've had him, he quickly took me from having zero practical music knowledge to being able to read and play Trinity grade 3 songs on my own. Yuvraj always tries to make piano something fun and enjoyable, rather than just another annoying thing to grind all the time. This is the guy for those who want to learn with a relaxed, slow and steady attitude. Even better if you're down to challenge yourself with new, unconventional music that you might not expect. While I don't really have anything to compare him to, I am very happy learning piano with Yuvraj.

I've been thoroughly enjoying my online music lessons with Leandro. What stands out to me the most is his thoughtful approach and attention to detail in every aspect of each class and exercise. Leandro goes beyond just providing material; he teaches how to practice it effectively. I particularly appreciate the well-laid-out assignments he provides after each class, which help me stay focused and motivated.
