Having worked with singers, coaches, and conductors all over the world, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work with artists. "In my work with singers, I consider myself an intuitive pedagogue and technician above all else. No two singers are the same, and I believe in a tailored approach to each individual. I have studied and been taught in the Italian Bel Canto school of singing, and believe that the goal of vocal study is to help the singer become aware of and release any habits that are counter-intuitive to healthy, natural production. Many singers come to me for vocal rehabilitation and realignment. Good singing is actually born of quite simple foundational techniques, and in lessons we work to move toward the natural expression of the voice. We start with the foundational tenets of technique: support mechanism, palate and laryngeal position, tongue and jaw relaxation, and then move through the vowels, assuring all is clean, streamlined, and natural.
