I offer private French lessons for all students, from primary to higher education. I can travel by car within a 10km radius of my home (to be discussed), to the student's home, or provide lessons via webcam. Teaching is my passion, and my years of experience, along with the private lessons I give, only confirm to me day after day that this is the profession for me. I have been teaching since 2019, and my practical experience and private lessons allow me to adapt to all learning styles. I graduated in French-CPC in 2019 but I also obtained a Master's degree in Educational Sciences in 2023. These two degrees give me the qualifications required to teach French as well as methodology. I do not have a degree in English, but I have noticed over the years that difficulties in French affect the learning of a second language... I therefore make available to my students my level of English acquired over years of practice with native speakers. They say that I am patient, perfectionist, methodical and caring. Due to my organized nature, I also help students to discover the work method that suits them, because each has a different mode of operation that is just waiting to be discovered. If you are interested in my profile, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to collaborating with you!

Study strategies adapted to primary, secondary and high school levels, with constant support and guaranteed improvement.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am a student of Teacher Training and a Higher Technician in Early Childhood Education, and my way of working is based on a clear idea: it is not about studying more, but about learning better. In my classes we work on: - Realistic organization and planning techniques - Comprehensive memorization methods (mind maps, outlines, visual separation of content...) - Concentration and time management techniques (Pomodoro Technique) - Reading comprehension and content synthesis - Strategic exam preparation What's a class like with me? I usually divide my classes into the following steps: - Initial analysis: we see how you are currently studying and detect difficulties. - Practical application: we work on a specific technique with real content from their subjects. - Guided practice: the student applies the technique with me to internalize it. - Final reflection: we evaluate what has worked and set goals for the week. How are my classes different from those of other teachers? - I work from a place of motivation and positive reinforcement. - I connect learning with real-life situations so that the student connects with reality and finds meaning in it. - I teach them to be independent, not dependent on the teacher when it comes to studying. - I integrate creative and dynamic tools typical of active learning. - I share educational content on social media, which keeps me up-to-date on innovative methodologies. Who are my classes aimed at? - They are starting to study more independently (primary school children) They try hard but they don't know how to study - They have organizational difficulties - They are easily distracted - They need to improve their academic performance - They want to gain autonomy and confidence, both in themselves and in their studies.

🚀✨ Maths and methodology course #Engineer #NeurosciencesTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Math lessons: Support + Coaching + Methodology = SUCCESS 🚀✨ What if we gave more meaning to mathematics 😉? The loss of meaning (or even logic) and interest, the feeling of feeling overwhelmed and discouraged by the lessons... it's a feeling that many people have experienced when learning math! My own experience of these difficulties made me want to help learners find pleasure in their study journey. After obtaining an engineering degree, life led me to question the learning process itself. I then became passionate about neuroscience (in addition to personal development in general) and have helped more than 50 students at home and online in recent years. 🌻 Why choose my support? - My experience as a student: it is easier to put yourself in the shoes of a student who has difficulties when you can say “I've been there”. Indeed, it is my student journey that allowed me to understand the challenges of learning and how to get out of it! - An adapted approach: thanks to my sensitivity for psychology and my experience in tutoring, I know how to adapt to the person in front of me. Depending on his emotions/beliefs or his personality, I adapt my speech, the objectives and the organization of the lessons. - A knowledge of the functioning of the brain: Self-taught and passionate about neuroscience, I support learners on scientifically validated techniques and I bring understanding to our learning processes. - Certification in neuroscience: By 2024, I will be certified as a practitioner in neuroscience by Dr. Mario BEAUREGARD, Canadian neuroscientist emeritus. This training allows me to support learners on their potential but also to change their visions of themselves through recognized studies in neuroscience. - “Local” virtual support: Some people consider online courses to be impersonal. Through my support, I accompany the learners before and AFTER the lessons. Although the lesson time is important, the before/after is just as important. So I set up monitoring and support tools. Technology is good 🙂 - Schedule flexibility: In general, face-to-face courses do not allow you to choose a “last-minute” course. I offer my students slots every day between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. (French time). This gives them time to settle down after the study day before resuming homework/classes or even to have a class before a surprise quiz the next day! 🌻 Why teaching? I need to feel useful. Through teaching, I help students of all ages regain confidence and better understand themselves in order to perform and have fun. From my experience, I like to transmit what I would have liked to have on my way. 🌻 My study background After a Scientific Baccalaureate in France (CEGEP for Quebec), I turned to a Preparatory Class for the Grandes Ecoles (CPGE also called Maths sup/Maths spé). Over these 2 years, the school level required a square organization to pass the entrance exams to engineering school. This is when my thoughts on methodology began. I then obtained an engineering degree in France in Industrial Engineering. Homeschooling allowed me to make ends meet during my studies. I then established my practice and my own teaching methodology before leaving for Canada in September 2021 and making this dream come true! 🌻 My favorite mantra? “Be the change you want to see in the world” by our dear Gandhi 🙂 🌻 My favorite subject? Functions ; because we can juggle with many other mathematics chapters and subjects Methodology ; whether it is providing the student with relevant support or proposing innovative ideas so that he or she takes pleasure in studying! 🌻 How classes work - My lessons are based on 3 points: Adaptation, Follow-up and Pleasure - We make a first call to get an idea of the objectives, the challenges, the learning context - The first lesson is used to understand each other, to create an atmosphere where the student will feel confident to express their difficulties/emotions. Depending on the subject, I do a first test on the basics of mathematics. - Secondly, I create your digital collaboration space and we plan a first action plan with the next courses. (With some exceptions, I always give exercises to rework what has been seen together) - I can be reached every day of the week for questions and advice - Have access to: Whatsapp, Google Drive and Google Meet 🌻 Class schedule Currently in Canada, I am available from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. (French time)! I can be reached every day and I offer last-minute slots every day.

Sarah, was very well organised as to ‘what she is going to teach me’ she had a file where she has split the time for theory, oral and test to check your improvement. I would continue with her for my French

Fantastic first lesson - fun but also serious - just the right balance. Melanie managed to engage both my son and my husband in fun, educational tasks. Perfect.

Sylvan was super nice and patient with my child which still struggles with the english language
