Lessons Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around. When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun. I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people of all ages. What an exceptional French teacher Mathilde is! She carefully coordinated with me to design a customized trial class for my (reluctant) 7-year-old daughter. They ended up baking a cake together, discussing ingredients and process in French only - and by the end of the class my daughter was a French enthusiast, already putting full sentences together. I have appreciated Mathilde’s dedication, patience and teaching skills immensely, and I genuinely cannot recommend her enough.

Overall she is a great teacher. Since she is teaching me to play the violin, she has always been very enthusiastic. She makes you feel at ease and makes you accept that making mistakes is ok, even when you are a perfectionist. Besides, she is very flexible with the style of music you like and adjusts her teaching to your development. Even online classes (since the pandemic) go super well. I can highly recommend to take classes with her!
