It works on the deep, dense (Yin) connective tissues and joints in the body WHAT IS YANG YOGA Yang Yoga, in contrast, refers to a more active practice. This works on the (Yang) muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina and flexibility. Yang styles of yoga are those with rhythm and repetition like Vinyasa Flow. PROGRAM Class is very appropriate for beginner, intermediate and advanced practitioners. In 1 hour class we will start with yin yoga poses which work with lower of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine and focus on facia. Then we will continue our practices with yang poses which works on the muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina and flexibility. Combining both Yin and Yang elements in one class provides a balanced practice and can have a powerful effect on energy levels. We will close our practice with breathing exercise such as Nadi Shodhana, Ocean Breath. It is very difficult if not impossible to get my son speak highly of a teacher who makes him do more reading and writing. :) Merve proved to be an exception.
