PragyaA Moment of Science Please! Science on Finger Tips!
I am Pragya! I graduated in Biochemistry (Honours) from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. I further went on to pursue my master’s degree in Medical Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard, Delhi. I am currently pursuing Doctorate in Biological Sciences from Queen’s University, Belfast, United Kingdom.
During all these years I realised that the classes I appreciated most were not necessarily the topics I was most interested in, rather it were the professors who made the classes enjoyable and interesting. All these professors had one thing in common, they were always engaging and comprehensible when teaching and moreover were willing to go an extra mile when asked for additional help and clarification.
I will carry the same approach and knowledge to my tutoring sessions and do everything to make learning a pleasant experience. I use lesson plans in which I usually introduce the topic in a fun and creative way, then explicitly teaching the material. The biggest strategy I strictly adhere in my sessions is “Revise the old; learn the new”. Of course, this method can be adjusted based on the subject and student’s individual needs.
I currently demonstrate on module for biomedical science and in total have eight years of tutoring experience.
I want to benefit the students I work with best of my capabilities therefore, I am open to any additional resources and suggestions from both students and parents.
I am easy to reach and always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!

NouhailaA doctoral student in pharmacy gives private lessons in biochemistry.
Currently studying for a doctorate at the Faculty of Medicine.
I offer private lessons in biochemistry, I can help with the modules in biology.
I obtained a bachelor's degree with first class honors, then I went to medical school to obtain my doctorate in pharmacy.
Regarding my working method, I insist on the course, always initiate with what is theoretical then move on to exercises to better apply the course and target the objective of the session.
I still have very good relations with the students and very good learning results, after a year of online teaching I find myself with a very good experience.

EebaBiology, microbiology, anatomy, physiology, basic zoology and botany.
I'm a Medical Biotechnology graduate from Amity University, Noida. My subject of interest in biology so I would be teaching you biology 1 & 2 (up to class 12)I can teach microbiology, molecular biology, physiology, and anatomy up to graduate level.
My method of teaching would be a little in-depth. I would probably share some extra knowledge (outside the syllabus) regarding the topic I would be teaching.
I would be asking questions from the text after covering a few topics so I know you're following.
Besides the topic being taught, feel free to ask questions regarding confusion from any topic.
Let's make learning fun :)
MaximeHelp and deepening in Cellular / Molecular Science and Biology.
I am currently a doctoral student at CHU Laval and you will find on my personal profile all the details concerning my university career.
My courses are mainly focused on life sciences and biology. I am able to cover all aspects of cellular and molecular biology (ex: transcription, translation, nucleic acids, gene repression, recent techniques in molecular biology, cloning, ...) and I adapt according to the demand of the 'student.
Thanks to my background, I am also able to provide an expert opinion on the theme of the intestine-brain-microbiota axis (metagenomics, homeostasis of the intestinal bacterial flora in physiology and pathology, relationships between neurodegenerative diseases and deregulation of the microbiota) .
My current field of expertise allows me to give very advanced courses and at the forefront of current knowledge on the themes of neurodegeneration in particular on Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.
The first course will focus on an assessment of the student's shortcomings and needs in order to provide the best possible experience.
My courses have as main objective to give birth to the student:
- a complete and perfect understanding of the courses given
- a strong critical mind
- scientific reasoning
It is also possible to make "à la carte" courses where you warn me before what you want to see in a very short period of time. This format is ideal for students who need answers to specific questions and who want, for example, to work on exam papers.
Whatever the course format chosen, I provide a worked PDF which serves as support for the various courses covered or to support the answers to the questions that students ask me.
MariaBiology, Includes: Test Preparation and Discussion
The course is open to all students. My goal is to help others have a better understanding in cell biology, cell physiology and molecular biology. When necessary certain homework will be assigned. Also, I am willing to share pdf files of different related books that I consider helpful. Study load will be approximately 2-3 hours a week depending on the level of the student. Topics to be discussed include mostly: Carbohydrates, Lipids, Nucleic Acids, Proteins, Cell Membranes, Cell Cycle and Cell Division, Cancer, Cell Signalling, Physiology, Homeostasis, Neurons and Basic Genetics (mutations and regulation of gene expression).
Periodic progress reports will be available for everyone.
For the students that are interested in broader topics, discussion including applied laws to relevant biology topics, such as patents, or ethical issues will be encouraged.
The student is encouraged to choose the relevant topic they wish to be discussed in each class.
For this course, good books for extra assistance are: The Science of Biology by Savada et al. (any edition) or Biology The Science of Life by Nowicki.
Ines FernandezBiology lessons for students up to (and including) A-levels
Up until the 19th century Biology seemed to be the forgotten science; while Chemistry and Physics were making revolutionary discoveries, Biology was lagging behind. However, Biology finally picked up speed with Darwin's Theory and it's now a very popular science amongst students.
While Biology can often seem daunting, with my classes I aim to explain and help those students who, like Biology in the past, feel like they are lagging behind :). Depending on what the student needs, I can help them go through what they have done in class, help with their homework or help them keep ahead! I might occasionally send some homework to make sure the knowledge is sinking in.
